Parade Colors (First Celebrations)

I teach 1 year olds and this is one of their favorite books. We talk about colors, shapes, the animals they see (and the sounds they make), and, naturally, they point out all of the hats. My kids loved it so we’re all happy.

It is hard to find an easy, simple book for the 4th. I got this for my preschool class which is 2 and 3yr olds. I can keep it very simple and I can also add to it as we talk about the pictures , and how we have seen the things in the book.

This is a simple holiday book describing a July 4th parade. Each page points out different colors, shapes, & objects for the children during the parade. The book also has children of all skin tones throughout the book. I’m very happy with this purchase.
