Why is this NOT in your cart already?????!!!!!
FABULOUS!THIS is what I have been looking for in a mandolin slicer!Safety is indeed "first" with this design. You literally have to go OUT OF YOUR WAY to be put in ANY danger with this setup. Not saying you "can't" get hurt, but that you REALLY have to work at it and ignore ALL of the manufacturer's warnings for usage, in order to hurt yourself with it.Dials for all kinds of thicknesses, that are extremely intuitive."One blade to rule them all" design, instead of having to switch between various attachments.Overall blade "size" easily fits a russet potato without having to "cut it down" to fit in the chute. Same with a peeled onion. Baby carrots fit long-ways in the chute bottom, which helps for julienne.Slice, julienne, dice... all in one. Just turn the knobs for which you want. Two knobs are specifically for the "julienne" blades, so you can either go wide julienne or narrow. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet you could even do a waffle/lattice type cut design, with how much versatility the knob adjustments give.Locks hold everything in place, so this doesn't just "accidentally go off" on its own.You literally have to push down to make any cuts. The blades are behind a protective flap in the top.It breaks apart very easily for cleaning, with a few simple spring buttons and a spring clamp for release, and the included cleaning tool is perfect for getting out food particles WITHOUT endangering your hands. Snap it all back together and put in the dishwasher for sanitizing. There is a snap-in cover for the blade section for storage, instead of having to keep the loading chute attached all the time.As for food prep, look out! Holy crud does this thing go thru produce like nobody's business! "Fast" doesn't even begin to define quickly it will go through 5lbs of potatoes! We were literally running out of space in the catch bin, in under a minute. I have tried from 0 to 10 on the thickness cuts, and just wow. Want chonk size? Go to the max width, and be prepared to go through a russet in under 10sec. Need rice paper thin? Go to the other dial extreme and use the potato slices as tracing paper. Shred an entire head of cabbage in under a minute. Slice an entire bag of onions in a matter of minutes. Julienne an entire bag of baby carrots without fear of shredding your fingers. Coleslaw base and potatoes and onions for scallop casserole, done in less time than it takes to warm the oven. Kid you NOT. (Yes, I actually timed it one evening!) Tomorrow we'll be using this critter to make some aehobak saeu bokkeum (korean stir-fry zucchini with shrimp), and I can't wait to see how fast it goes through the zucchini and squash prep (which normally takes me quite a bit of time - sometimes upwards of 30min - hand-slicing the julienne sticks, including seeding and cleaning, and cutting off the ends, then lining everything up, cutting into nearly equal lengths, etc). I already know it is going to breeze through the carrots and onions, LOL!This slicer has it all, for a ridiculously low price tag. If you are looking for an extremely versatile mandolin slicer that won't hog cabinet space, let alone break the bank, THIS is the one you want!(sorry, it's currently IN the dishwasher, so i can't grab a quick pic of it, at this time! i may have to grab some pics this weekend during the bokkeum prep, and update this review. we use it so often, it spends more time either in use or in the dishwasher, than in the cabinet! ROFL!!!!)

The best Mandolin out there!
This is seriously the best thing chopper/mandolin I’ve ever owned! I love that it’s virtually completely safe from cutting yourself, which is a huge bonus because the ones I’ve had before make me so nervous to use. You can adjust the thickness of what you would like to cut And it slices amazingly with no problems! I don’t feel nervous, leaving it on the counter with my children around. It has a protective guard for storing and a foolproof Safe way to feed whatever you’re cutting into the slicer. It suction cups to the counter to keep it nice and stable. The value for the amount of money is worth every penny! Very nice quality and well built/heavy duty! Would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new mandolin!

Very sturdy
It's bigger than I thought it was gonna be. Easy to put together, operate and use. I'm having problems cutting and chopping so this is amazing for me! It's worth it for me. Worth every penny I spent on it. It's sturdy and doesn't move with the suction cups. The handle is easy to push. Since it pulls apart to clean it's not as hard as some people say. The brush helps clean the grooves. I recommend this as a time saver if nothing else.

The Slicer Story
Great kitchen utensil. Most important feature is its a time saver when prepping fruit and vegetables. Let me explain : 1st taking out of box and setup is easy. 2nd The Mandoline Slicer comes with instruction booklet..so read it. Sloooowly!! 3rd Slicer was difficult to use b/c user must constantly adjust A B and C knobs, but after 2-3rd time I got it. 4th So the knobs are set as knobs A-B-and C and finding the right dial to get proper thickness when slicing apples, potatoes, cucumbers etc might take awhile. Manual does seem a little too technical, thin slice thick slice--it's trial and error at first. While adjusting A-B or C knobs is a bit trickey, it's not Rubik's Cube configuration more like fine tuning an old guitar ( tuning pegs, strings, headstock etc ). Every time you use slicer you learn. the 2nd time is better, 3rd time feeling good etc. Still there is learning curve..take your time. 5th point is safety. Blades are really sharp be careful. 6th point again, Slicer is quick quick slice slice and your done. Learn to use the Pusher, its for pushing fruit veggies, whatever through slicer and into Container. Clean up is kind of a bit of work, I put two stoppers in sink the one with holes inside drain, other stopper on top run and water in sink, cleanup is becoming very fast fast. 7th point I do not play guitar or like Rubik's cube, chess, checkers and crossword puzzles so there!! Anyway buy the SupMakin Mandoline Slicer it's a huge time saver, a great utensil to have in the kitchen.

Safe, but limited to slicing.
This mandolin does some things well, but over sells it's range of options. This claims to support "diced/chopped" results. It sort of does, if you run the food through twice. It's not great for soft things, like tomatoes. It doesn't catch and juice or liquid, which just runs out the bottom. I bought it to make prep for pico de gallo easier, it is not as good for that kind of work as my old mandolin; the kind that really want to get your fingers. For firm things, slicing and julienne, it is quick. Clean up is is a little time consuming due to the numerous components, moving parts and small crevices. It is reasonably fool-proof for safety.

I find it super useful everyday
I've tried a lot of slicers dicers and choppers and this is one of the best. It's easy to clean it's versatile and best of all you don't risk cutting your fingers off. It's also durable and doesn't feel like crappy plastic getting ready to break. It's a good product!
