works well
it is a little bit better powered than the 8220 it is replacing. brushless always works better. Not sure it is worth the extra bucks, though.....it does work fine. just cut thru a couple 1/4" steel bolts with it

Great tool to have
Love this tool - great for detail detail work and battery lasts a long time too.You do have to completely remove the collet to change rotary cutting bits. Tried using the optional drill chuck but it's not designed for these heavier load uses.

Great tool
Great portable tool. I use it for all sorts of tasks. From automotive, to 3d printing and anything inbetween. Lasts for a good while. Lots of attachments that can bought separately.

Excellent but pricy cutting tool
Works excellent i bought a cheap 10 dollar Dremel biggest mistake i ever did didn't cut through anything this was able to cut through steel with ease although i recommend wearing a face shield with PPE because sparks will fly like mad these are also compatable with bosch batteries unlike with other companies you are not restricted on what batteries you can use as long as it can fit in this unit. Its expensive but it will do the job save your money and get this.

The King of Rotary Tools
Incredibly versatile and has excelled in every task I’ve given the tool so far. I studied all the other Dremel models and other brands, and this one checked all the boxes for me. I highly recommend looking at videos about the MANY different Dremel bits and accessories before buying. I do highly recommend the Flex shaft.
