Strong and reliable
What I like about this product is that the paper is thick enough where the grounds won’t rip through, while maintaining the true taste of my freshly grounded coffee. I will buy this product again because of its reliability and value. I’ve had a bad experience with another filter that just ripped on me several times due to the weight, but this product hasn’t failed me once.

Fun to fold and easy to use
Great product. Exactly as described. We grind our own beans and this filter doesn’t rip. Works for the modern Chemex with the glass handle!

Reading comprehension would have helped me here
These are almost exactly what I wanted, except you have to fold them yourself which is a small inconvenience but if you have mobility issues with your hands you might want to find a different option.

Better than I expected
These filters are great! They need to be folded, which, at first, upset me; however, folding is easy and I’m pretty sure that they let the coffee flow faster. I wondered if it was as strong and, yes!

Works great - far cheaper than the branded version of these types of filters
Packaged in light weight cardboard box so they are easy to keep clean and to pull out one at a time. The paper is appropriately thick for the task, and the lack of bleaching makes it less likely to leach any additional taste to the liquid. I have an allergy to sediment in wine and use these to filter sediment out of old (and sometimes newer !) bottles of wine.It does an excellent job, does not take too long, and imparts no flavor from having been filtered and removes even the tiniest particles from my observation, and I have not had a typical allergic reaction from the wine I filter as compared to what usually happens if I ingest the sediment.

Lower price but also lower quality
While these Chinese-made coffer filters suffice in a pinch, they are not as good as the pricier Chemex brand filters. An example that penny pinching isn't always desireable. Next time, I will suport the American brand.

Great filter for pour over
I drink black coffee. Bought to further filter out the finer coffee from in a pour over coffee brewer. Using the supplied metal filter was sufficient but I was holding back on grinding the bean more because of the grit at the bottom of each cup. Now I grind coffee finer, no left over whole or partially grinded beans in the grounds.Plus, these look cool in my pour over.

Too thin. Not folded.
While these filters are less expensive than the Chemex paper filters they are made of much thinner paper. Also, they are unfolded (just square sheets of paper). The thinness of the paper results in the water going through the filter too quickly which in turn results in weaker less flavorful coffee. One could use more coffee or one could double up on the filters (use 2 sheets) but that defeats any cost saving of purchasing these less expensive filters. I would advise those with a Chemex to get the Chemex brand filters. They are designed to make great coffee as they are thicker which allows the water to more slowly move through the filter allowing the coffee time to brew, and they are conveniently pre folded. No money is ultimately saved by buying these off brand filters & the quality of the coffee suffers when they are used. There is a lot of science involved in the Chemex design of their equipment & filters which is not the case with these inferior filters. You are just buying square sheets of paper when you buy these.
