Decent device. Misleading description of warranty.
I mounted this and plugged it all up last night. It certainly seems to be a decently designed and made device, and I believe it will serve well in the role of outlet strip. Why three stars? It's because I read the fine print on the package concerning warranty. The Amazon website description touts a $10,000 equipment warranty. But the package fine print states that the equipment must be "computer equipment". It also states that the warranty is void in case of lightning strikes. Why else do we buy surge suppressors? So the device is good, but the description of the warranty is misleading.

How does a surge protector go bad?
It lasted about five months before ruining virtually everything its been connected to! It ruined a surface laptop's power supply a synth and a vocal processor! At first I noticed weird issues with items plugged into it were displays would flicker and phones wouldnt charge but then suddenly those items didnt work on anything else after being plugged into it.I dont know how something so simple could go so wrong and cost so much money.... DO NOT BUY THIS

yep
a 15 ft cord says it all. i live in the country so we have constant outages and surges. i have bought so many of these to protect my expensive equipment and grow lights. recently within the hours of 11 and 3 we had three surges and outages. everything survived it, thanks to my surge protectors. just reset after each surge.

Not what was in the ad
Got the cord length I needed but not the plug in end I needed! I wanted the flat plug in like pictured and got the STRAIGHT one instead. Not impressed!

Great value, hard to find 15 ft cord!
It’s 15 feet long! When you have an old large house that is sparse on plug ins, something like this is so valuable! I have one wall with no plugs, and this baby was long enough to meet the needs I had! I’m so glad I found it, plus it was inexpensive at $14.

LOVE THIS POWER STRIP!!!
I didn't even know they made power strips that had cords this long! We just moved to a new house, but it’s an old house hahaha. There are very few outlets throughout the house, and they are terribly placed. We kept running out of outlets for our devices and needed to get better access to outlets for the devices. We already had outlet multipliers (I’m not sure what they’re actually called) where you plug in an extender into your outlet so that you now have 6 outlets where there were originally just two. But those kept making the power go out in the house, and we’d have to go to the fuse box and switch the fuses off and back on multiple times a day. Which was a SUPER headache because my husband and I both work from home and need reliable internet connection to do our jobs! And on top of that, those outlet multipliers did not solve the issue of poor outlet placement. We still needed better access to our outlets because trying to plug the computer and tv and phones and tablets all in behind our bed just wasn’t cutting it. So I decided to check Amazon (my go-to for pretty much everything in life haha) and see if they had any power strips with extra long cords. I really didn’t think I would find anything, because I had never seen or heard of any such thing. And they really must not be too popular, because there weren’t very many available that I could find. But then I saw this Kensington one. And Kensington being a brand I know and trust, I was excited to try it out. I loved that it came with surge protection, because even though I have absolutely NO idea what surge protection even is, it SOUNDED like that’s just what we needed to prevent the power from shutting off on us every time we tried plugging multiple things in. And low and behold, the power hasn’t shut off since! We bought two of these, one for our bedroom, and one for our kids’ room, and both of them are plugged in to the maximum with devices that are running mostly all day if not all day.In our bedroom, we have our big-screen tv, our desktop computer plugged in, a mini fridge, and a humidifier that are all pretty much always running 24/7. We also then plug in our cell phones and laptops intermittently into the remaining outlets on the strip whenever we need those charged. Our daughters’ room also has a big-screen tv, a Roku device, humidifier, and a fan that are all usually running about 24/7. Then they will plug in their tablet to charge whenever that needs charging too. So, in general, both strips are maxed out almost all day everyday, and we have not had another power shutoff since purchasing these.Oh! Also, this may seem small and insignificant to other people, but it’s SUPER important to us…the fact that the outlets on the strip are all 3-pronged and they all face up and down, and not side to side. On ALL of our other power strips (regular length ones, and not Kensingtons), the individual outlets on the strip all face side to side: they look like this =-But on these Kensingtons, the outlets face up and down like this ‘.’ What that means, is that all of our chargers can fit next to each other on the strip at the same time. Even those chargers that are extra long and bulky (You know, the ones that would normally cover up both outlets on a standard wall outlet - Like how most hair blow dryers have) can fit next to each other. On our other power strips, there are times when we can’t use all the ports on it because one of our chargers is long and covers up the next port on the strip. It’s random, but it’s a huge deal for us!My husband is ready to purchase another one for the living room so that we can have better port access than behind the couch for everything! We love these power strips and are sooooo glad that Kensington makes this length of power strips! Great quality, and great length! We absolutely recommend this product for anyone looking!

Extra long cord and it works!
The cord is 15 ft as indicated. I would have liked for the holes for which you hang the product to have been centered, but that is not a big deal. I am no electrician, so this may be the nature of electricity: the plug closest to the switch does not provide the same wattage as the ones further away. My computer told me that it was not getting enough juice. My docking station would not charge my laptop and monitors. However when I changed the plug to one of the ones further from the on/off switch, everything was right as rain.

It looks like a nice charging station
I love this thing. It was a bit pricey, but its perfect. I bought it for my workout room... I have it sitting on a low bookcase with a tv, bluray player, it's where I charge a portable DVD player, and my smart watch. With the angle of the outlets, bulky plugs don't empede everything. The cord is long - I have mine going along a wall to the back side of Mr workout equipment. I'm weird, I really like the colors - they could be used for color coordination if someone wanted to be really organized or something. With the shape and color, it doesn't look tacky like a lot of surge protectors, the round shape means it doesn't flip over.... It looks like a nice charging station if you keep your cords managed

Not CSA-approved as advertized
The product description says this is CSA-approved. This might be the case for the 6-ft cord variant, but not the 15-ft cord variant. There is no CSA certification on the product itself. The product manual and website also do not indicate that it is CSA-approved.

15ft 6-Outlet unit does NOT have flat connector as advertised!
15ft 6-Outlet unit I've got in mail does NOT have 15' (4.5m) cord as shown on the picture. Just a regular power cord which doesn't meet my purpose. False advertisement.

I love it!
This is a great surge protector, I love how the outlets are oriented so you can plug things in sideways. The switch makes a satisfying "click" when you turn it on and off, and the green LED makes it easy to tell when it's on.

EXCELENTE PRODUCTO
El multicontacto es muy bueno pues cumple con dos características importantes, el cable es realmente grande , para cuando el contacto se encuentra lejos y su forma redonda permite conectar varios eliminadores de baterías al mismo tiempo sin estorbarse por su tamaño.

Not a flat plug
Bought this because it was advertised as having a flat/low profile plug, but instead it has the standard one. Otherwise this would get a higher rating.
