DEWALT20V MAX XR Cut Off Tool, Brushless and Compact, Bare Tool Only (DCS438B)

This is what a cutoff tool should be. The blade angle is much more comfortable than the pneumatic tool I had before. The easily removable guard is a great feature when cutting drywall, but should not be used with cutting metals. DeWALT does it again! I have replaced most of my tools with DeWALT 20v XL now.

I first bought a cheaper tool that was disappointing. This thing is exceptional. I used it to take apart a spring mattress to save money on a pickup and removal. It went out in the trash this morning. I have had great luck with reconditioned tools

This tool is amazing. Really helps in removal of unwanted metal parts.

Have had the M12 version of this for years and always wished it had a little more "umph!".....Dewalt nailed it, plus love being able to add a hook to it for hanging off my tool rig for frequent use.

Incredible little cutoff tool that fills the gap for small random things that I’d otherwise have to use hand saws and rasps for. I’ve used it for cutting drywall, removing protruding framing nails, and even making drain grooves in concrete.

Works AWESOME! Use it at least 3 times a week, it's a Dewalt so ya it's good!

Light and Easy to Use. I love this little thing! I can use it one handed. I use the diamond edge multi-blade to cut wood, metal, plastic. My first project was to cut up some aluminum and plastic downspouts. Then some black plastic drain tile. Then some extra chain links dangling from my barn heater. Then a cutout in plywood for air return in a wall. You get the idea, it is so handy!
