Most handy camp accessory I own! Sharp blade and the built-in saw is a nice feature!

Handy, useful camp tools in a compact but not lightweight package. Sturdy enough to make good use of them.

Decent Hatchet & Sheath, Mediocre Saw
Got this today & test drove. Hatchet has good weight & balance for its size, seems sturdy enough, but can't know yet if it will last. Head arrived sharp, and a couple of quick passes with a whetstone makes me think it will be reasonable to sharpen as needed. The saw is mediocre at best, OK for green wood, hopeless for dry, seasoned hardwood. I may just leave the saw out and use the hollow handle to store other survival gear, and carry a decent folding saw separately. The ferrocerium rod is on the small side, but it throws off some decent sparks. The sheath is good -- everything is VERY stiff - the head latch, the belt loop, and the ferrocerium rod, but I suppose that's better than having stuff fall out at random. The belt loop is one of those that is impossible to remove. You'll find it's much easier to take off your belt than to get this thing to give up its grip. Again, I suppose better than risking it falling off accidentally.

Good quality, convenient design
Solid little set, not too heavy, convenient design with the saw inside the handle. I haven't used it much yet but seems sturdy and has held a sharp blade so far

Shockingly good Axe.
To date, one of the best 2 axes i own. (I own dozens of axes and hatchets) Despite the saw having manufacture defects, the teeth were not ground down right and had/have flashing on the tips of the teeth. Nothing a triangle micro file couldnt fix. Stilk, the saw is not too erganomic but it is effective enough. Nice how it nests in the handle. I have hit nails with the blade of the axe with very minimal damage. Honing stone was all that was required. No file needed. Good weight and weight distribution. I like it.

Not Sturdy, do not use to split wood.
I bought one of these style axes for my next door neighbor from Fiskar, but did so thru the Base Exchange at Little Rock AFB.He absolutely loved it and they did have some on Amazon but I saw this one from Wakeman. It came with a a little saw blade in the handle, I figured..."What the heck".Why is it when you say "What the heck" you are always met with garbage?Light duty sure.Do not use this in tandem with a hammer if you plan on actually hitting it to split wood with.I have borrowed and used the one I bought for my friend. I'm guessing they use a lot better metal.

Camping ax
I purchased this for a family christmas bingo prize - lots of campers, hikers and outdoor lovers in my family - it was one of the first gifts chosen. Quite heavy for size - in my opinion, even tho it states it is lightweight. Has a couple of extras, a fire starter in the handle - and others. Comes with a head cover. It seems like quality to me - but I am not the outdoor person - so - having said all of that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
