THE best barf bags
I have 3 kids and as much road trips as we go on, there is always one that gets car sick. I bought these bags with little expectation and I assure you that they are amazing. The bag concept is no biggie, everyone can pack a bag right? But have you ever reached for said bag and it has a hole in? Yeah not good! These bags have this absorbent liner that seriously absorbs most of the fluid AND keeps the smell in place, then the cinching ties close it up until a pit stop. On our last road trip we 2 kids that were just coming off a stomach bug, on our trip we had 6 vomit incidents!!! And not a single spill! Love these bags! I was only glad I had that many in the car, we keep 2 at every kids accesible reach.

Seem like they'll work well if we do need them
Haven't had to use them yet. Cardboard collar is kind of weird. Seem like they'll work well if we do need them.

Warning: structurally unsound
Last week my family went on a camping trip. The campsite was about 5-hours away, and I made sure we had these bags stashed in the car because my 5-year-old daughter sometimes get queasy on long rides. We survived both legs of the trip without incident. But on the return leg my daughter said she felt like she was going to throw up when we were just 10 minutes away from home. I did not come to mothering naturally. So I was especially proud to be able to grab a CareBag and climb into the backseat of the car with her. I rubbed her back. I rolled down the window. I helped her hold the bag at a comfortable angle. She vomited right into it. Not a drop was spilt. All was well. I was very pleased with us. I told my sweet little girl what a good job she'd done. I told her how proud I was of her. I felt that perhaps I had been to hard on myself. Perhaps I was finally coming into my own as a mother. I knew in the deepest corners of my heart, however, that my arrogance had displeased the gods. The plastic bag disintegrated in my hands and chaos reigned. The vomit in the bag - it's volume exponentially increased by the absorbent hygienic sack it contained - fell into my daughter's lap. She began howling - high hysterical screams as if I had bludgeoned a puppy in her lap and was forcing her to come to terms with my monstrous nature. My husband accelerated towards home. The lurching of the car threw me off balance as I crouched in the back seat trying to throw handfuls of vomitous mass out the car window. My accuracy was affected, but I persisted. We arrived at home covered in vomit. My sweet little daughter was hosed off in the driveway before being carried inside. She did eventually stop exclaiming, "Mommy, threw throw-up on me!" The interior of the car will never be the same. My daughter's car seat had to be power-washed. I can only imagine the horror of those who walked to their cars parked along our befouled path of ruination. One star.
