Supports the gut
This product does exactly what it is designed to do, feed the probiotics in our gut. I was without it for a week last summer while out of town, and I noticed the difference. I couldn't wait to get back on schedule. This is a critical part of my diet.

product has short fuse expiration dates, no customer support via email
There's a photo in the header of the reviews that echos my experience. Ordered multiple containers in August 2024, and they came with December 2024 experation dates. I opened one of them. The product had absorbed enough water (no moisture-absorbing packets included) to have hardened - I had to smash it with a spoon to break up the clumps. And you do need to break up the clumps, otherwise it will not mix well with your morning oatmeal. The concentrated clumps are NOT tasty.Expiration dates may not realistically reflect when the product goes bad. I emailed the company to get their comment on the subject. No response.Does this product work? Hard to say, I use multiple products and I'm doing OK.Update 4/10/25They reached out about this review and offered me a full refund of my last order. I will order again, and hopefully the expiration date will be more than a couple months out. It does improve the texture of my oatmeal (I add it after the oatmeal has been mwaved), IMO, when not clumped. I think it helps digestion, but I take multiple things to aid digestion.

Clumpy
I tried this brand instead of my usual based on price per serving. Unfortunately I find it doesn’t mix well into water and clumps. It’s this reason alone I give 3 stars. I’m sure the fiber and probiotic properties are as advertised.

Don’t buy …turns water brown and doesn’t dissolve
This does not dissolve as described or I got a bad batch. In water, this does not dissolve with stirring, it clumps and turns water brown and you can definitely taste it. And even worse, they won’t allow a return. Don’t buy. Not sure how there are so many positive reviews.
