I use this on an induction cook plate and it works very fast. The handle does not heat up on induction, however, it will get warm on a gas burner and I found the the lever would not open the spout as well as when I use the induction.

I do like this good-looking tea kettle. The whistle is very loud, and reaches a high-pitched scream very soon.Mine arrived with a 1 1/2 half inch scratch. It arrived very well packaged and had no damage during transit, so it must have left the factory with the scratch.

This is a very nice-looking kettle that heats up fast. Unfortunately, there are a couple of negatives, as well. The handle gets very hot, the top is not easy to remove, and the outside of the kettle developed brown spots after only using the kettle a few times. We have a gas stove and make sure the flame is set appropriately so that they are not coming out and up the outside of the kettle and burning it. I've tried several cleaning methods and products, but have not been able to remove the brown spots.

I have had this kettle three weeks and we use it once or twice daily, on a gas stove. The only reason I did not give this 5/5 stars is because the handle gets 2/10 warm. It does not get hot like other tea kettles do. I do not have to use an oven mitt but it does get just warm enough to let you think that it’s warm but there’s no problem in pouring a full kettle with your bare hands. The kettle fits nicely in my hand. It has a very loud whistle, which I love! The color pops in any kitchen!

It is nice and sturdy. It is easy to clean and has a nice whistle. I hope it holds up well.

Product Is Ok. But Very Disappointed In The Packaging. If I Wasnt Home My Wife Wouldve Seen What She Was Getting For Christmas. No Wrapping Whatsoever Just The Actual Box That It Came In.

I bought this tea kettle hoping that I could hold the handle without a hotpad. And I am happy to report that I can! The tea kettle is quite attractive and stays nice and shiny. I like the window showing how much to fill, basically you can boil a half gallon of water at a time. I find the handle and "trigger" very well designed for my hand to pour. I also like how easy it is to pop the lid off to fill the kettle.

I bought this kettle to replace one that didn't work anymore. It whistles really loudly. Just one thing I don't like is the fact that there is mineral buildup in the little window. You can't clean it properly. But it does the job I want. My hubby has hearing problems so I'm glad it whistles very loudly.
