Royal & Langnickel - 5pc Soft Grip Gold taklon Paint Brush Set, Round | SG303

These brushes are excellent for acrylic paint, which is the reason I purchased them. I had a very old set from years ago & wasn't even sure I'd be able to find the same brushes again, but I got lucky. I'm so glad these are still being made! High quality at a great price. These brushes will last you for years & years of use if you take good care of them & follow brush care protocols. I had my old set for around 4 years with heavy use, then I quit for 10 years & just went back to painting. I expect these to last me at least another 4 years so at this price that's a great bargain. They have a good variety of brush size as well & there are other sets available, for example, flats. I highly recommend them.

These are durable brushes and they keep their shape.

You really get what you pay for. These paint decently BUT THEY SHED. Be prepared to pick tiny hairs off your paintings ....

Work well in acrylic paint.

Love these brushes. I didn't feel driving to the art store 30 miles away. These are great and they are delivered.

I use these brushes for watercolor and they are okay. I have seem some bristles on my art pieces, but it has been rare. My paint already stained them which is no big deal. I honestly don't use the soft grip as much since I hold my brushes like pencils really. I do think they are a bit overpriced though, but it's okay.

Buy this set as a complement for my current set, and I have to say I expected more. One of the youtubers that I follow recommended this set because they never shredded and worked percfectly for her. And I have read so many good reviews here so I was so excited getting them. But I have only used it twice and two of them already shredded. It is not like crazy shredding but the brushes do lose hair. And they didn't hold their points that well either.

These are much better quality than I was expecting for the price I paid. They are nice and light when painting with them. The added bonus for me is that they are comfortable because of the soft rubber grip. They hold paint and/or water well and the fine points on them are impressive. A great buy that will last me for many years.

Good quality brushes at a cheap price. I always use Royal and Langnickel brushes as I find them really good quality and with the soft grip handles they are extremely easy to use.
