favorite brand for taste and quality
I got a bargain on the price. All cans were intact, not dented, the 12 pac was sealed in plastic.I use this brand for biscuits, soups and breads.

Great taste, can is packed full of pumpkin goodness
I love this stuff and was delighted to find that I could purchase it by the case here. That makes it far more cost-effective than from the stores nearby, unless it would be on sale.As far as quality, this brand is tops. I love that it tastes like the pumpkin puree I would make from time to time (you make it from "sugar pumpkins" and not the big, dry jack types) and it's organic. I also enjoy the texture and moisture level, it's "Goldilocks" for me, not as moist as applesauce, or the same brand's version of Butternut Squash puree (which is also wonderful) nor is it dry and stodgy. I use it primarily for oatmeal and other things in meals, and though it sounds odd, on an almost daily basis when I have enough of it in the house. For instance, you could add it to a smoothie, or make a pumpkin powder protein bowl with this puree as a major component. It's got taste, texture, moisture level, filled to the top, organic pumpkin (and nothing else) in the can; if you are a pumpkin lover like I am, what's not to like?

BEST pumpkin puree I've ever had, & I've had a lot. Sweet, smooth, good to eat on its own!
WOW! OUTSTANDING! Now this is pumpkin puree. Purely smooth, rich..really tastes like pumpkin. I normally just buy whatever is available. Sometimes it is super cheap stuff, sometimes mid priced. All pretty much taste the same to me. Some are more dry, some are more wet. The watery kinds can be great for smoothies. The more dry is better for baking. I wasn't sure what to expect with this brand because all the reviews had me thinking I would open a can of watery mess.Opened the can, it looked.. moist. Not watery. The watery kinds look like pumpkin puree and water blended together. This has a deep color, very very smooth texture, and the puree is dense. Any liquid is clearly just pumpkin "juice". It is THE BEST pumpkin I have had. WHY IS IT SO GOOD???? I have had other organic brands too. It might come down to what kind of pumpkin is used? This is AMAZING. Like, i can eat it by the spoonful plain, amazing. It just has this natural sweetness that I dont ever notice in other brands (Aldi, Clover Valley, store brands, Libby, Full Circle Organic, other organics I cant recall). This is flippin' delicious! I really do wonder if it comes down to type of pumpkin variety used. This is just overly good. All my cans look good (no dents), has plenty of time on it in terms of expiration. This is my new favorite pumpkin brand. I really didnt know that pumpkin puree could taste this good. Right now I have been using it on hot oats- adds a bit of sweetness on top of all the other good nutrtion it has to offer. Glad I finally came around to trying this brand. I originally wanted to get some canned squash puree and this was the brand I booked marked. I tried the pumpkin because it was on sale. Now that I know this is the best ever, I will try other products from them. All a tad pricy, but I dont rate on price anyway.

Tastiest canned pumpkin
Its some of best tasting canned pumpkin, though looser consistency with more water than most. Finding any canned pumpkin at reasonable price in off season not that easy. Right now this is best bang for the buck.Is rather confusing, I am old enough to remember when canned pumpkin was one of cheapest canned vegetables (well its botanically a fruit). Now its one of highest priced. You are still getting value for your money as lot nutrition and you can use it in savory dishes like in soup. Great base/thickener for vegetarian soups. Its not just for pumpkin pie or desserts.

Product Fine, Definitely Tastes of Butternut Squash Related Variety
When I first opened one of these cans, I spooned some of it into a bowl I was going to be adding Greek yogurt to, licked the spoon and said to myself, "what the heck? Butternut squash!" I love me my veg enough that I personally can recognize the difference in flavor, especially since my grandmother grew her own pumpkins and they did appear in her cooking. And I was going to write one of those, "Hey maybe this isn't what it seems reviews," but fortunately for everybody involved I read an article around the same time about how many producers of products for canned pumpkin grow a variety of pumpkin that is closely related to and has a similar taste to the butternut squash. And I thought, ah. This clearly must be a company who uses that variety.Personally, I'm not bothered by it because I honestly dump so much pumpkin spice in whatever I put this in that you can't really tell if it started out tasting more like a traditional pumpkin or a butternut squash. And most recipes that call for pumpkin have enough herbs or seasonings in them that really, I don't think it would matter there. For us, I didn't have any problem with the condition or the durability of the product. I only give my take on the butternut squash taste of the batch we got so that you can be aware, in case you do have a very strong preference on the matter. I do not.
