As a Field service Engineer, I always find myself using these to wire up control panels, motors, and various industrial machinery. They easily handle high voltages like 480! Very easy to use and help avoid the sticky mess that insulation and electrical tape causes.Highly recommended for all personnel that work with control/electrical panels.

Do these cost more than wire-nuts? YesAre they far superior? Absolutely!They are the next best thing to sliced bread if you are an electrical hobbyist. I'm an electrical engineer during the day, but at night I have plenty of hobby projects I work on. Of note, these are great for doing LED lighting projects where you need to be able to quickly dis/connect wires (to swap between different LED lights). As stated elsewhere, they support a huge range of wire gauges (12-24 I believe) - I don't think I'd use them in my home wiring - only because that isn't something I'm likely to change for years at a time (wire-nut would work fine).Excellent product!

This is the 2nd set I've bought. At first I thought, when will I need to use 50 of these. But you'll soon find out that these make working with live power way more safer. I mean, if you don't shut off the power you're an idiot, but if you use these, at least you're an idiot with a clue.

I didn't expect to have to rewire a switch I installed using these connectors, but turns out, the cooper ubs wall switch burnt out and threw the breaker, much to my surprise. I initially thought that perhaps one of these connectors failed and a wire came loose in the box. Not the case.What sold me on these connectors was the convenience and ease in which I was able to pull out the old switch and install a replacement. All without disturbing the existing pass through wires that this switch was connected into.
