This is a genuine review for those debating whether to buy or not.I use sign writing vinyl in my business and it’s very difficult to use and expensive in privacy films, which is why I bought this.For those worried about how difficult it is to apply or if you’ll tear it if you have to reposition the film, the answer is you will not tear this film. It’s very thick, Ud say impossible to tear with your hands. I repositioned this several times when applying to my window and no issues at all.Do you need a spray bottle? The answer is no. I used a brand new clean kitchen sponge soaked in soapy water. I had already cleaned the window, dried it to make sure it was clean and used the spay sponge to wet the window I was applying the film to. No problems at all. Once in place, dry the surrounding area and you don’t need a squeegee, I just used a hand towel, started in the middle and worked my way outwards.Larger film out of stock?This was the case when I ordered and I’m so glad it was, because I covered both windows it’s one roll, which is fantastic value for money. As you can see I did one window vertically and the other I used the Gil horizontal and it looks great. I’m not an easy woman to please with this sort of thing, I like things to be perfect or it’ll bug me forever and this looks great, the photos do not do it justice, my son absolutely loves it.I didn’t match the stripes up for the large window and it looks fantastic. I was going to do right to the top, but have left it because I’m so impressed with this film that I’ll be using the other roll to do the exact same thing to my own bedroom window.Just like wallpaper, easy to match up the stripes…Should you want to do the film vertical for a large window, like the ones we have in the U.K., i can tell you that you can match the stripes up just like wallpaper and trim with a sharp craft blade, I advise a brand new blade as the film is that thick, or super sharp scissors.I’ve researched loads and loads of films and by far this is one of the nicest. My son is 8 yrs old, so not a baby and not a teen, so difficult to get it right for his age. This will suit boys and girls. Best thing about this choice of film is it’s not dark and oppressive and other films colour pallet is quite dark and oppressive and not suitable for a bedroom.Scores this product -simplicity of use - 10/10Ease of repositioning/reuse - 10/10Quality of film - 10/10For the supplier, would be great to be able to buy in longer lengths. The instructions were very clear and as per previous reviews I cut the piece slightly bigger then trimmed to fit once I’d put it on the window. I’d definitely say you need a good crafting knife as the film is quite thick & can move if the knife isn’t razor sharp but this method leaves you with a precise fit. You can move & reposition easily, just keep a spray bottle to hand & keep the glass wet until you’re completely happy then I used a tea towel to gently remove all bubbles & water leaving a flush to glass finish. Final results are exactly want I wanted. I’ll see how long it stays up, hopefully it will be okay!

Don't forget to measure your window before ordering. I did, and had to create a join which is OK but not the best. Very easy to install and does the job beautifully.

Easy to use, I put on the flat part of patterned glass, which is still a bit wobbly as its old glass, still applies and looks great. Definitely brightens the hall. Definitely recommend.

Perfect , provides privacy but the colours let the sun in and at the same time keep the house cool highly recommend

Very disappointed, returned.On opening it became instantly obvious that the pattern runs horizontally, not vertically (unlike wallpaper)So on most windows that would be taller than wider (portrait) you would need to make several joins as you would need to stack the horizonal strips on top of one another & make sure they align correctly to produce the correct image.You could use it as supplied, this would me no joints but the pattern would be flipped.So, as we ordered a pattern containing daisies they would be shown to be growing horizontally not vertically which is not natural & not as shown in the product listing pictures!
