I use this to file/smooth out my sons nails after cutting them, works well and easy to use

Super easy to use but took ages to file babies nails so I went back to clippers.

It works ok, but the file is quite soft and on Baby's soft nails it doesn't quite work and takes a while to get the desired effect.

As a dad, I want to help out as much as I can with our little one but I've really struggled when clipping his nails. You go from careful clipping to almost taking the end off his finger in a very short space of time. We resorted to doing it when he was asleep - it's possible but not very practical.With this fantastic little ring, you can "play" with your little one whilst filing their nails. The edges of the band stretch open so it works for both my big fingers and my wife's smaller fingers. The little nail file pads have self-adhesive tape on one side to stick them to the band. They hold on really well and we've not had any fall off. Plenty of replacement pads come in the pack.Really pleased with it. 100% recommend and will be buying again if we wear this one out.

I purchased this with the hope of filing my newborns nails (instead of cutting his nails with clippers). But a newborn’s nails are simply too soft… it’s like trying to file cardboard (it simply doesn’t work).

Great little piece of kit to make life that bit easier, a massive plus when it comes to parenthood! Comes with loads of spare emery boards so will last ages and fits nicely on your finger leaving your hands free to coax baby’s into position, it’s a win not having to keep putting it down then picking it up each time she wriggles free!! Glad I bought

I didn’t rate this at all. I found it was just bending my baby’s nails whilst I was trying to file. It looks convenient because of the finger holder however it doesn’t make it any easier than using clippers, such a slow process as well it’s impossible to keep my baby still whilst trying to use

Does the jib but don't last very long I find I have to change the file every time I file her nails.

Finally found what I’ve been looking for! Cutting or filing my 3 month olds nails has been a disaster since he was born. Most of the time I just put little socks over his hands instead of trying to cut/file his nails. I’ve tried baby clippers and accidentally cut his skin...talk about feeling like a horrible mom. Then I tried just a file and it’s so hard to hold the file and try to keep my son still to do his nails. I’ve tried doing them when he is asleep and still nothing worked!When I saw this product and the amazing cheap price...I knew I wanted to try it!!! Amazing!!!!! The file is little and fits perfect on your finger. My son doesn’t mind me filing his nails at all and I think it’s because the file is very soft. I feel confident that I won’t hurt him when I’m using it. It’s just so easy to use and they give you enough files to last months!!!The only thing I wish was it included 2 rings instead of 1. Since they are little, I’m so afraid I’ll lose one and then I’ll have to buy another set.

Okay, I'm a first time mom and I was terrified I was going to hurt my newborn with clippers, so I opted to try this nail file to see if it was worth the money. And it absolutely is. This takes my baby boy's dagger like talons down to soft squishy adorable little baby fingernails again. Its super easy to use when the little guy finally passes out in my arms, he is a bit too squirmy when he is awake. Would make a great gift for a baby showers or new moms! Would definitely buy again!!

Works good. Ends of file lift up bc the adhesive gets loose but go back down when you press on it

It tore her nails more than it filed them and I was being as delicate as I could. I feel a good glass nail file would be better suited

A must have for newborns!!
