This workbook is very informative! I like that it breaks it down into seperate, easy to read, chapters with quizzes to test your learning. As a Registered Nurse with many years of experience under my belt, I found the book very easy to understand. However, for those without the same background, it could potentially be a little wordy and overwhelming!The charts in the book depict realistic visuals of EKG rhythm strips, which is nice (typically medical disciplines are visual learners). I also appreciate the fact that this book includes potential causes and treatment options for the different arrhythmias.My favorite part of this entire book is Chapter 5, in which it lists, alphabetically, ailments that can be diagnosed from EKG tracings. I think this information would be so great to reference when you have a patient with one of these conditions, so that you can be better versed in what EKG changes to watch out for.

Im in the medical lab science field and doing a 12 lead ecg is part of the curriculum. This book is a God send, its so easy to read. It breaks everything down into simple terms and the step by step explanations are more than enough to ensure that you understand how to interpret an ECG/EKG reading.
