Does the job. You wont want any sweets for sure but something to get the taste out. Tea isnt a good option unless you put a drop in.

It's hard to rate this Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf Powder from AYURVEDASHREE because it tastes horrible but it's effective. It comes in a sealed bag but upon cutting it open, the powder was all over the place and above the zip lock. The instructions are to mix 2 to 3 grams into warm water. Two grams is approx 1/2 a tablespoon. The water does need to be warm or almost hot for the powder to dissolve. Then you have to drink what looks and tastes like sludge. It's hard to choke it down. But after the fact, nothing tastes good. It alters the taste of what you eat so you don't want to eat the sweets. That was my primary reason for trying it as I've read that Gymnema Sylvestre helps control sweets cravings. It seems to work better than the pill form for me.

Happy to have this Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf as a powder. No added materials. Can dose as desired. No issues with taste or such--worked in the smoothie I put it in.

The item was extremely bitter and could not be consumed.
