I usually dont have time to write a review, but this product deserves few minutes.This is great cellphone car holder. After trying 4 different type- Glass\suction, - Dont like to have things on front.- Dashboard - Similar to above messy.- Magnet-holder - Air vent - No strong enough, can not tile.- Cigarretligher arm - Horrible designLove this one, excellent design.Nothing that I dont like

This mount can do the job well. My vent fins are not deep and it is a challenge to get a firm grip on them; however with careful positioning of both the moveable vents and the vent grip jaws it does hold my Huawei Ascend Mate 2 phone even over the longest roughest roads (who has not found them in all the construction going on?).The power of me magnet is excellent and the adjustable phone bottom supports provide the perfect fit for my 6.5" (with silicon cover) phone to be securely held vertically. It came loose once, but I have been able to find the best mounting thanks I part to the instructions provided.

Wanted something that would not fall out of the car air vents on a 8 hr drive for my vacation that was in the summer and needed the holder to be up where you do not have to take your eyes off the road much to look at the phone . It would do ok for a little while but then would come lose and full ... Even had some of my family that went with me try to keep it from coming off.... Don't get me wrong it is a very nice holder but not for my car which could of been that my vents has two sits of louvers first across which is what the claps hold onto but then i also have a second set be hide which is up and down louvers so to be able to get it to hold i would have to be able to hook on to both sets ... Just not long enough to reach that far back.

I bought this for my LG G4, with it's curved back, and so far, it was worked. The only complaint I would have is that mounting it to the vents is a little tricky. The support leg is helpful to keep the whole thing from falling down, but getting it in place takes a few tries. The magnet is strong and I haven't had issues with my phone falling off during turns.

This is probably the 5th phone mount/holder I've purchased - I have a Camaro which has a unique dashboard and the air vents are quite a bit narrow and concave and none of the other mounts worked since they were too close to the vent which didn't allow the phone to completely attach to the mount without hitting some part of the dash. This one extends out a bit from the air vent giving the phone sufficient clearance which is perfect! However, probably due to this it does shake a bit more than the other mounts. And given the stiff ride of a sports car, it's a bit more rattle than I'd like but it still works. I tried this in my other (smoother!) car and it still shakes but not as much.All in all, I like it since it's the only one I've found to work in my car. Can't comment on the durability since I've only been using it for a week or so but hopefully it lasts a while.

I love this phone mount. It is first one that works for me with phone in an otterbox. No falling over. The only little issue iis the vent flaps the opposite way. I put a bit of kleenex in gap and while not attractive, it works! The vent problem however is the car not the car mount itself.Very happy with this product. I've tried to many and none worked with a heavy case like Otterbox or were not secure enough that I could trust it w/o case on. A definite winner!

The actual mount fits very well and doesn't move once the bolt is tightened to the air vent, however the magnets aren't strong enough to keep my phone attached. I'm a delivery driver, and I can hit the slightest pothole or make too sharp of a turn, and my phone falls right off. Also I'm not sure where the other reviewers put their magnet, but my magnet didn't work through my LifeProof case. I have an iPhone 6s Plus, so maybe my phone is just too heavy? I'm not sure, but I do wish it worked for my phone, because when it is attached to the mount, and when it's staying, it's a solid 5 star product and exactly what I was looking for.

I tried so many mounts on my 4Runner, this was the only one that held my phone (Galaxy S6) at the proper angle, and kept it there. The dash is pretty much vertical, and the little adjustable stand does exactly what it's supposed to. I might like to see a stronger magnet, but it has never fallen off. I was also able to place the metal plate low enough to still allow wireless charging by keeping the feet slid all the way up.
