Clean audio switching, no noise!
TL;DR: This switch works great! No noise! Woo-hoo!DETAILED VERSION:I have up to 4 computers at my desk at all times, and use a KVM to switch monitor, mouse, and keyboard. But the KVM audio is horrible, and unusable. And anyway, I sometimes want to hear audio without interruption, as I switch between tasks, between the computers, and a KVM wouldn't do that.I don't have cheap speakers, but reference grade monitors (speakers). These are well build, well shielded, I hear everything. I often think that negative audio reviews are due to using lousy speakers that generate feedback loops. The only issue I ran into was my laptop. It emits noise into any connected speakers. When plugged into this audio switch, every channel suddenly had the noise. I added a ground loop isolator (ASIN B095RHGDD1) at the laptop, before the speaker wire that feeds into this switch. No more noise.Right now, I only have two computers plugged into it. I'll had two more in coming weeks. If anything changes, I'll update this review.Very pleased, now I don't have to have extra cheap speakers on my desk to plug into computers.

Almost Perfect 2-way
I got the 2-way rca version. It is so simple, no external power, audio is very clean, volume knob is solid and adequate resistance to turn, adjusting volume via knob does not add any noise. Much recommended.Only small gripe is that it does not include any rubber feet for the unit itself. But still a very quality item.2023-05-24: After 1 year of regular use, the right channel started glitching for both outputs. The sound would be uneven or too quiet. I've checked my cables and plugs which are fine. It happens when pushing the toggle button(1/2), and when the sound is uneven, the temporary fix is to wiggle the button and hope the sound evens out. This issue has become more and more common.

A lot smaller than they make it look on Amazon
This thing is tiny. Everything works and the switches work and the knob even though it's kind of loose does work, it doesn't seem to add any extra noise to the signal chain even though it probably does because I doubt it shielded. So, maybe the fact it's small helps out. I would rather have a larger and shielded but then I'm sure we'd be paying a lot more.I'm kind of using it but then I'm kind of not using it. I'm trying to create a situation where I can choose one of two external preamps for my turntable setup and I'm trying to use this as a bridge. I'm getting ground hum on one of them even though it's grounded just fine. I'm still trying to figure out if it's this box or if it's the power supply or just the proximity. Setting up high-end audio is no picnic but it's totally worth it.Anyway if I find out this box doesn't play well because of its lack of shielding or whatever, I'll let you all know and update the review accordingly. But for now, it seems to do what it says on the tin.Four stars because it is really tiny which is kind of annoying and the knob is really loose I don't think it's going to hold up too long and I don't think it's shielded.

Perfect 3.5mm Audio Switch - Highly Recommend
After reviewing many similiar products on Amazon, I became concerned with "dirty noise / buzzing / humming" from the switch not being properly grounded. I took a chance on this device and I'm truly happy with the quality of the product and the sound quality. I have yet to discover any audio quality issues. My use case is as follows:Audio source #1 (Rear A) - Cell phoneAudio source #2 (Rear B) - Server/workstationAudio source #3 (Rear C) - open/futureAudio source #4 (Rear D) - open/futureAudio output (Front Port) - Logitech THX z560 400W power speakersI'm able to drive the speakers at full power with no audio quality issues.

Audible humming, unusable
Product looks great and has nice toggle, but produces a very audible humming noise when multiple wires are connected (the entire point of a switch like this). The humming noise is disruptive enough where I cannot use as intended.

Multiple inputs creates ground loop issue
I have noticed that once you've added in a second input, you start to hear some ground loop noise.I've added a ground loop isolator and that helps a little, but I can still hear the noise.I've gotten to the point that I only leave 1 items plugged in and since it sits right up front on my desk I can just swap cables as I swap devices.Serves its purpose but I can't say I'd recommend it.

Simple switch that works as intended (Bi-Directional 4-Way RCA)
This switch does what it needs to and nothing more. I'm using it to switch between my different headphone amps and my desktop monitors. It is sonically transparent. It is close enough to the size of my Schiit gear that it can be stacked on top and not look silly. The screenprinted print on the top is a bit goofy, but you cannot see it where I have it placed, so it's a non-issue for me at the moment.Probably costs more than it really needs to, but I prefer these to the button toggle RCA switches as they seem to go bad quickly and are not as well grounded.
