Bought these to replace the pleather ear cups on my Hyper X Cloud 2 headset and they're so much better. They are light and padded so they don't cause any ear/head pain after wearing the headset for hours at a time. They are snug to the ear and offer great support. Been using them over a year with no issues, great quality so far.

I got a set of Audio Technica ATH-M20x headphones a while back. I’ve probably worn them longer in the three days since I installed these Wicked Cushions earcups than in the three months prior. I would go so far as to call Wicked Cushions ear cups a necessary, unskippable purchase for anyone who owns a pair of ATH-M20x headphones, or really any Audio Technica headphones.I genuinely didn’t think these headphones could feel this comfortable. The old earcups were small, thin, hard, warm, and made of material that was just plain uncomfortable to have pressed against your face for very long. Now, my earcups are large enough to fit my big ears, they’re soft, they’re about 3x as thick as the old ones, they run cool, and they feel really nice to wear.On sound quality, I would say there’s been a notable improvement in overall sound clarity based on my informal testing. Lows are especially improved. It’s a lot easier to distinguish and make out bass notes now than it used to be, particularly in jazz and orchestral numbers. The extra room and better seal with these ear cups has made a positive difference, for sure. In general, the music is clearer. I would still say that these headphones have a flat sound profile like they did out of the box. They’re just no longer being held back or muddied by those ear cups.

They fit my Hyper X very well and make my headset feel like new. they seem very well made as well

5/9/2025 REVIEW:Ok, so after having them for don't remember how long since order date, but I can confirm that the firmness of the earpads does keep the hard part of the speaker from getting too close to my ears. Thickness is debatable since it's mostly due to the dense-ness and firmness.Cooling Gel, I don't feel temperature improvement. In fact, I feel it's warmer. Yes, I do live in SoCal which is a warmer than avg location in the USA, but during the ownership and usage of these, it has primarily been on the cooler side of the climate these past few weeks. Plus I primarily use them at night time. Temperature wise, no change, probably warmer. 1/5 stars.Overall, would I still recommend them? Yes, def get them over the stock ones. At least these are made of a material that won't flake off easily through heavy use.1ST IMPRESSION REVIEW:Just received these and installed them. Note you'll have to carefully and gently stick your finger from the inner cup the nudge the fabric into the slit.The product is not thicker than stock, but rather, it's more denser aka more material. This gives it a more firm structure to withstand the clamping force of the headphones resulting in a more comfortable experience.I replaced my stock pads due to them shedding from daily use indoors.Here are pictures of before install to compare thickness and after install.Again, you're getting a denser foam, not a thicker foam. However, it is DEFINITELY more comfortable cushion wise.Temperature wise I have yet to test it. I'll find out soon with summer around the corner here in SoCal...

Very easy to install. I’d recommend installing over some newspaper or something, because there’s a bit of cleanup from the original foam & adhesive. I don’t notice a drastic change in fidelity, but they are much cooler on the ear than the original ear pads

Put these on a HyperX Cloud 3 wireless for three weeks and I was not impressed. They run HOTTER than the stock earcups. The material is also much thicker and encloses around your ear tighter which leads to them being less comfortable all around. I have small ears and they almost border on being too tight.I can tell that they are made well and in some cases would probably be an upgrade. I am much too lazy to return them so I will just keep them as backups.
