Great jars for sourdough!
Great set of jars and really handy for sourdough.The spatula is perfect as it fits perfectly in the jars but I really with is was a little bit firmer and so could scrape the last bits out of the jar better.Overall though, food value, easy to clean and looks great.

Committment needed
Its good and enclosed recipe to make the sourdough starter is included. However, the room temperature and your commitment must be unwavering. It took over my life but I managed one loaf! I will try again. I also bought my brother one and his failed completely. Maybe try again when the weather gets warmer.

These are great to know where your starter was when feeding etc. sturdy, well made glass. Easy to clean. Nice little spatula too

Ideal for sourdough bakers
At first I thought the jar was a bit on the small size since I like to keep a 300 ml starter, using half of it to make two loaves of bread... but I have simply changed my method and now I keep two 150 ml starters and use the entirety of one of them for the breads. I then divide the remainder in two and make them up again. That way, if I have to discard one, or if one is slow to rise, I'll still have the other. The spatula could be slimmer and I would have preferred a different colour (black?) The elastics are handy, as are the measurement scales on the sides of the jars.
