Why did you pick this product vs others?:We recently got a cat, I wanted to do things good and get unscented litter as it’s supposed to be better. I tried a lot of different litters, our problem was always the smell, we had to clean and empty the whole litter box 2 times a week so it was getting pretty expensive. Our litter box is in the living room so the smell would bother us after just 2 days. (Even scooping the box in the morning and at night) This one, I’m coming on a week and no bad smell yet! Clumps very well and one thing I noticed too is there’s no more litter all over the floor. It doesn’t track as much as some I tried which is a plus ! The febreeze smell is very strong so I can understand why it could be a problem for some cats. Overall I’m so happy I found this one and will stick to it ! We’ve been using this kitty litter strictly for quite some time now. We love the clumping ability, and we needed high clumping as we have a litter robot. It works PERFECTLY with the litter robot, and have never had a single issue. The clumping is fantastic. Highly recommended. Our litter robot is always clean, nothing left behind. Filters with no issues. The function of the robot relies primarily on the quality of the litter, so needless to say we will not be switching away from this brand. It’s quite literally the only item on our repeat delivery.

Owning cats for decades, I've tried SO MANY types of litter. I've really been seeking something a little more eco friendly than traditional clay litter, but everything I tried smelled so bad or tracked horrendously (not to mention they were all incredibly expensive.) I'm very pleased to have found this Fresh Step. It REALLY controls odor for almost 4 weeks. Scooping is easy. Some tracking, but not more than regular litter, and much less than others I tried. We use a VERY large/deep box, so I find I need two boxes of this to fill it. If you are sensitive to fragrances, I feel this does have a LITTLE bit of fragrance to it, but we are very sensitive, and it's not enough to bother us, nor do I feel it bothers our cat.

I’m not using this for a litter box. I sprinkle in our poo bags in between trash days. It’s not designed for that purpose but we’re trying everything to reduce the odor of our poo bucket between trash days. This helps a little but doesn’t eliminate the odor, but we think it minimizes it a little. We’ll continue to use it especially during the summer months to provide any odor relief.

My cat likes this cat litter. I have tried all the other brands and my cat likes this litter. I have litter robot and it works well with litter robot. Good clumping the light weight is easy to use. I have used this litter for over 20 years. Other brands may be on sale but I will purchase this brand over other brands of litter that are on sale.

Great clumping litter, and even better that it has no artificial scents.The box is really handy as well and can be recycled.With two kittens, this didn’t last that long but longer than the non-clumping litter.Also- it wasn’t dusty.

I have 3 cats and all of them can not wait for me to put some new FRESH STEP in their 3 personal litter boxes. Low Tracking, keeps a good smell for weeks and clumps it all. I tried the rest and for me I stiuck with the best... Meow

great for the price!! love that it is delivered right to the door, for people that are older or disabled and have a hard time lifting! Also the best litter for keeping ammonia smell down
