Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition - Nintendo Switch

I love The Witcher 3 on my PS4 and when I saw it come to the Switch I knew I had to try it out. The graphics look amazing on the Switch and while it may not be as good as a next gen console or PC, it still looks good. Game runs well and I’ve had no problems with it. Also having all of the DLC as well is a plus for anyone who wants to enjoy the whole story again.

While I didn't expect much from the graphics due to the fact that Nintendo Switch consoles are a bit underpowered however this game's port surpassed all my expectations.I own the OLED model and the graphics are amazing for the OLED model. There is a lot of blur in the background but nothing that will keep you from enjoying the game.They made a lot of sacrifices in terms of video quality to get this game running however it still looks very beautiful for the type of underpowered hardware you are playing on.As far as performance it runs very smooth on the OLED model. I'm running so fast to loot I tend to run right past it.This is a dream come true for me to have Witcher 3 running on a mobile device I can take anywhere.

This game came in a plastic mailer and was delivered on time.Pros: This is a fantastic game. I was waiting for this to come to the Switch so I could play this on the go.Cons: Compared to the PC and Xbox versions this is a slight downgrade in graphics, but is very much still playable. So not a deal breaker.Overall this is such a fantastic game! I recommend this game to anyone on any platform. I can’t wait for the next Witcher game the CD Project Red is working on.

Witcher 3 Complete Edition for Switch is a real work of wonder to those who ever wanted to play that game on the go.Kudos to the people who worked on making this port a reality with all the challenges to get it to work on the system.What sucks about this version of the game is the over 3.3GBs of patches and updates that has to be housed on the SD card for all the stuff the developers weren't able to patch into the game's physical cart to meet the release deadline. Sure it has its own benefits, but to not have all the patches and updates on the physical cart is a bit of a let down for something that is supposed to be complete upon popping the cart into the system to rock and roll.Its a good port, its everything we ever wanted for something thought to be impossible to make work on the Switch, but requires a large amount chunk of SD card space for all the rest of the content to work.

Honestly, it's one of the greatest games of all time available in a portable version. What more do you need to know? Yes, graphics are down scaled when playing on a large TV, but the fact that I don't have to fight Epic or Steam or wait for updates and horrendous loading times means that I actually get to PLAY it. Worth it for our collection!

Works great

Overall it’s pretty cool that they were able to crammed this much into the switch, however since it is on the switch it does suffer a bit. Graphics are ok and it feels like there is a small input lag with the controls. Pretty satisfied that I can take this on the go. Side note graphics are a little blurry and there is pop in. Still a great port considering it is for the dang switch 👍🏼
