I have used this particular brand of storage for years with the same trustworthy results.The unit is small and compact yet boasts the saving of a massive 2 Terabytes of data.Now comes with a cable end converter that allows both USB 2.0 and USB 3 connection, which should facilitate almost all computer connections.The data transfer is quite fast and the process to use is simple.Once plugged into a PC, whether Apple or Windows, the window opens up to display the pre-installed software that should be activated to make the drive secure.Once this is set up you should create a simple password for first time use.This then allows the unit to be protected against data loss.It can be configured to 'remember' certain PC's so as it does not ask for the password every time used.This feature is great because if you lose the unit - it will not allow access to your data without the password.The unit is lightweight and small enough to slip into any laptop pouch or a pocket or handbag.More than happy to recommend.

I’ve been using the SanDisk SSD’s for a while now with Blackmagic Designs 6K and 6K Pro Cinema Cameras. They’ve performed flawlessly on every shoot so far. I always shoot BRAW these days and though I’ll rarely shoot at 3:1 compression, I tend to shoot all my interviews at 6K with 5:1 compression. I’ve never had a dropped frame, never had a drive fail (other brands I’ve used have hit these problems after a few hours operation) and the transfer speeds are superb. They’re even thin enough to fit inside the SSD compartment on the SmallRig 6KPro cage. Though they do rattle about. Maybe add a little padding to hold it in place. All in all, I’d highly recommend these as part of your Blackmagic camera kit.

Big enough to support multiple backups of all my data and small (tiny) enough to tuck into a drawer by my computer. Being solid state, it's silent. Runs flawlessly off my USB 3 port though (perhaps because of small file sizes) it seldom reaches the stated (up to) 800MB/s. It is fast enough to satisfy my needs.

This SanDisk 2TB SSD is like a tiny vault for all my important files – small enough to slip into my pocket but tough enough to survive the apocalypse (or at least a bit of dust and drizzle). The read and write speeds are good, nothing not super fast but does the job.I use it mainly for backups, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my files are safer than a samosa in my hands. It’s sturdy, reliable, and ready for anything – a cracking bit of kit that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Excellent product, compact as required and consistent connectivity. Zero noise and fab for backing up. Getting a second one shortly. Bought a separate case for it (padded), this helps to keep it safe and dry.

Comes with short usb C to usb C cable, and an adaptor for type A to C, you'll find best performance when using a usb c port on your computer. However, this drive is backwards compatible. Plug and play, no need for any software, unless you wish to encrypt the drive with a password.As its solid state it is silent. The drive can get warm when transferring large amounts of data, but otherwise remains one of the fastest options for transferring large files, or data sets.
