Perfect for a newbie

This book makes it easy to learn Hiragana and Katakana. It's recommended that you also buy a Japanese writing practice notebook as well in order to memorize hiragana and katakana more quickly. As with any new skill, it requires daily practise to learn. Highly recommended.

starts off with brief explanation, then its pages of all the hiragana characters with a same page for pratice. the practice grid is after it shows all kana/gana to help brush up on characters. Flash cards at the end and look to be pretty damn good!

The media could not be loaded. The book explained in detail how each character works so it helped me a lot. There’s a lot of writing space at the back and has flash cards included too.

There aren’t many books/workbooks that are so thorough and concise as this one. If you want to learn how to write correctly and beautifully in Japanese, this workbook is where you need to start.
