Q: Can it crush 5 oz juice cans made of thicker metal, like V8 juice cans?

If you put a dent in it first, it does alright with thicker non-standard cans and bottles. I haven't done one of these specifically, but some of the nitro-brews come in thicker aluminum cans and they just need a little dent. If these are more like soup cans I sturdiness, you are going to have a bad time. It will even sort of crush a soup can if you dent it first, but it flexes a good bit and you worry it'll peel a stud out of the wall.

7 inches tall 3 inches wide Just a note we have already had to replace 2 of the rivets with screws. Hope this helps

You really need to have it screwed to the surface as you need that leverage. But it could still work if you were to mount it flat to a table or bench sure.
