These kits are the best. I haven’t yet completed this one, but I have done other kits and they are all so charming. This particular one has some more challenging aspects that I have not seen in other kits by this company. In particular, the sitting room chair has to be constructed and then upholstered. It is doable but this component is more difficult than any of the pieces for the kitchen or the art studio (which I have completed). I would recommend this soho studio to someone who has good fine motor skills and patience and ideally someone who has completed another miniature kit or model build in the past. I am so excited for the challenge!

I loved this kit. This is the first minature I have done and I got on just fine. I also bought an exacto knife and cutting mat that was pretty critical for me to complete the minature. Lots of tiny PAPER details! Which is the hardest for me because I have to be really patient and gentle but I completed this set at about 95% of what I had to create. Love the scale, works great for 1:12 dolls. Shipping was fast, everything was intact and I did not have any pieces missing. Thank you to the seller, this is a really good brand.

This was my first ever miniature DIY kit, and it was so much fun to put together and the instructions were very easy to follow. Highly recommend. My advice, however, would be ensure that you have all the necessary tools needed before starting (Exacto knife, cutting mat, pliers, wire cutters, tweezers, good glue, etc) and the process will be enjoyable. I made sure I did this before I began and am very glad I did.

Be prepared to slow down your day, and focus on this project. It is a lot of fun to build but it is not quick or easy - that being said, the reward in a project like this is that it does take time and concentration. The finished product isn’t for heavy play, but it is a cute setup and my daughter loves it. Very happy with the kit, but it can be frustrating at times given the complexity and fine work needed.
