It works great, but was not rigid enough for use in the skimmer. It got sucked into outlet.

Cost a little more then other brands. But worth it. I bought 3 times. As thick as described. Holds up to about 10+ times power washer cleanings before tearing / need replacing. Removes small particles of dirt and mud. I use in pond filter between the heavy duty plastic filter pads to remove fine dirt. Best I found to get water crystal clear after koi dug into Lilly pots and made pond muddy. Would recommend for pond or aquariums.

It works great on getting the green out of my pond water. Just rinse and reinstall, not sure on the lifespan of it.

I was getting my goldfish (formerly koi) pond ready for the spring and noticed I only had one one pond filter left. Looking on Amazon it turns out I bought this in May , 2018 (for two-thirds of the current price-inflation bites). So I thought I would leave a review. I've had my pond for maybe 20 years or more and have gone through several different brands of filter media. This stuff is fine and IMO works perfectly. Easy to cut to fit with a pair of ordinary scissors. Very durable and easy to clean-my pond is built into a hill and has a tendency to get some dirt washed in through the rough rock retaining wall. I've noticed absolutely no matting/compression of the filter with use. Good stuff.

I normally use Danner media filters for my 1,000 gallon pond, but they have gone up in price.I cut this to 12 by 12 to fit my submerged media box. I was impressed at first by the thickness, but it shrinks very quickly.I have had to rinse them twice a week and it becomes weaker and weaker where I have to put it back together like pieces to a puzzle.The seller was gracious enough to accept the return.

I’ve been cutting this product into 12”x12” squares for my koi pond filter for several years now. I used to be able to rinse and re-use each piece 5-6 times before it would begin degrading. With my purchase last month, I’m only getting 2 rinses before having to toss the product. I’m now looking for an alternative.

The filter media is great but I wish it was a little more firm.

Used this filter in a skimmer. It did catch some stuff but the white side started falling apart after a couple of cleanings. Was not as fine or tightly woven of a filter as I had hoped for.

Used once and fell apart. I am trying to get a refund now.
