TWG is the best tea I’ve ever had, hands down. The Napoleon is great black tea and has great flavor.

I just tasted 1837 for the first time and it's extraordinary for a black tea. It smells like candy and has a distinctive caramel taste, but it's not sweet. I've been drinking tea for decades and rarely find a new blend that I'd rank as 5*.

I have been a patron of TWG loose leaf teas for many years. While their teas are quite expensive, I always compare it to buying a bottle of wine. Many people think nothing of buying a $20 bottle of wine that gives you five glasses. If you get a tin of loose leaf tea, you can enjoy it over many months. This particular blend is absolutely delicious. All the tea lovers I’ve served this to have loved it. The tin is super cute, of course. I used to buy all my black teas on my trip to Tokyo. I’m so happy to learn that I can buy this on Amazon.

Its quite AWRAGE tea. I had really HIGH expectations of this very expensive, and very small container. I mean its a good tasting tea, good quality tea (large tea-leaves). But for $40 one would expect to be WOWED by the flavor profile of the tea. Only this tea is no better and no worse than a $20 tea from other quality reputable vendors. I was not Wowed. I was barely even hmmm-ed. The tea is so very average tasting, it was a true letdown. Will not buy again. I consider it a trap.

New York Breakfast Tea: Great flavor and packaging, very high priced compared to other top brands. It was not next level in taste compared to other similar brands. I will be drinking it very slowly, not daily due to the price.
