Plug and play
Just invested in Ubiquity's Dream Machine Pro. I have a fiber incoming on primary WAN and I have a Comcast line as backup on WAN2. The WAN2 on the UDM Pro worked great with this SFP+ converter to plug in the RJ45 coming from the cable modem. Plugged it in and worked without issue.I know very little about SFP+ so was a bit hesitant, and this particular one was the cheapest I could find so was a little nervous. But, it's plug & play as it's supposed to be! No issues, so definitely best value for the money...I've included a picture for anyone interested to see its dimensions compared to the UDM Pro.

Great with UDM Pro
Works great with Unifi UDM Pro. I have a 1200Mbps (1.2gbps) internet service from Xfinity so I wanted to take advantage of the full speed where I could. Using a Motorola cable modem with a single 2.5Gb port, connected to UDM SFP wan port. Then I connect a 16 port Unifi switch to the UDM pro. Testing speed at the WAN port I’m getting the full 1200-1300 down. Even though most devices only have a 1Gb Ethernet port on them, if you have the full bandwidth at the WAN port then you can utilize full bandwidth when multiple devices are in use. For most it’s overkill but Xfinity only had 800mb or 1200mb internet option. And since 1200 is only $10 more a month, it’s nice to have the extra bandwidth.

Doesn't work with UDM Pro

Ubiquity SFP+ ONLY for 10g to 10g connections
This product looks nice, is nicely packaged, and the most cost effective SFP+ I could find. However, this module does not suit my application which is using the SFP+ WAN2 Port on a UXG-PRO to connect to a residential cable modem (Netgear CM2000) at 2.5gbs. Although the link lights looked healthy, my gateway was unable to receive an IP address from my ISP (Comcast Xfinity.) I was also not able to log onto my cable modem, meaning the connection between my UXG-PRO and CM2000 was not working properly. I should have done a little more digging; this SFP+ should only be used for 10g to 10g connections.

Works perfect, gets hot
Works really well, though be careful when removing a freshly used one and buy heat resistant ends for your cat cables, one of mine melted! These dudes get spicy!!

Ubiquiti UF-RJ45-10G Variant - Works great in Aruba s2500
Despite not being officially supported SFP+ modules, my Aruba s2500 switch recognizes the Ubiquiti UF-RJ45-10G version of this device just fine. They auto-negotiate to the full 10gb link speed, and file transfers are able to nearly max out the connection despite my cable length being nearly at the edge of the 30 meter limit. They do get rather hot as expected, however they aren't so hot as to cause concern. All in all, I'm very pleased with these.

Great RJ-45 to SFP+ adapter at a good price.
I’m using this in the WAN2 SFP+ port of my UDM-Pro. At first it was having trouble recognizing the connection, but after rebooting the UDM-Pro and my modem, it’s working great! I also really like the packaging it came in. A nice tin with foam surrounding the adapter. Overall, a great adapter that I’m glad I purchased!

Easy instalation and works as expected
This worked perfect with my Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro. Plugged right in after connecting the rj45 cable and it worked. The only configuration required was to set the connection as a 1G connection instead of 10G. This was priced much better than the one made by Ubiquiti and works just as well!
