Learning to Forget

Simple and direct, forgiveness is the key to success in body, soul, spirit, financially and in. relationships.It's a must to success! A matter of choice and not feeling!

This is a short, easily understood explanation of and practical teaching on forgiveness. I found it helpful, positive & encouraging.

Forgetting without forgiving is like a latent fire. It burns up in time and consumes one's life. Forgiving without forgetting also keeps you in a constant state of turmoil about the offender, thus cause you to pick up the grudge again. Doing both is the altimaye solution. However, I admit that forgetting the past is quite a challenge, one cannot practice it out of the human nature. Coming to Jesus and asking Him to enable you to forgive and forget is the only way out of this worst type of temptation in life. Do everything you possibly can to stay in peace with all people. My prayer: Father, I ask you to give us the strength and understanding that we may be able to forgive our debtors and forget it altogether so we can have a pure heart you can work in and with. In Jesus' name. Amen

This read really put a lot of things into perspective for me. In less than 30mins, I’m on the right path to forgiving others, and more importantly forgiving myself. A burden was lifted off of shoulders. I would highly recommend this small read to those that are struggling with unforgiveness. Let it go, so you can receive your blessing from God for your life.

Just what I needed I had been carrying this heavy burden of unforgiveness for about 20 years now, no wonder life has been so slow! Hebrews 12:1 KJV[1] Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us , and let us run with patience the race that is set before us......bitterness very subtle but runs deep such a heavy defiling weight......Hebrews 12:15 KJV[15] Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you , and thereby many be defiled;......what a life changer, I never knew you could forget the pains and the hurts. There is no justification in being bitter no matter the degree to which you have been hurt. It's one of the Devils tools to hold you in shackles, let it go now!!

A short but powerful read rinsing us to always walk in forgiveness not just toward others but also toward ourselves.

I recommend this and other books and materials from this Great Man of God -- Kenneth E Hagin. A true man of God - who helped open the eyes of many around the world to some of the great revelations of God's truths.

This was a nice brief intro to forgiveness and just what I needed to read on today. It's broken down into 3 chapters that explain what forgiveness is, how to forgive others, and how to forgive yourself. Great nuggets!

This book was an eye opener for me. Kenneth E. Hagin has such a gift of explaining God's Word with such simplicity. He gets straight to the point and explains God's Word and how we can apply it to our daily lives, as it most certainly should be. This book, among others of his, will be a blessing to ALL those who read it.

Since reading this book, forgiving and forgetting is no longer a big deal because if I don't forget I am doing my self harm than good.
