Dress Up America Ornate Gold Sword - Costume Sword and Sheath for Kids and Adults

For being a flimsy piece of plastic, it is still not broken. I used it as a prop for my kids nutcracker Christmas photos, then I let the kids play with it.

Broken and refund issue

This was used as part of a patriot costume. Looks great. Although my son didn't use it as a toy I don't think it would hold up long if he were hitting things with it, but it was perfect for what we needed.

This is a fun toy! The kiddos love playing with it.

Wow - This is worth at least at most two dollars. It’s horrible, cheap, carnival quality trash. A complete waste of money: the seller is making buckets on the turnover. Don’t buy. Almost not worth my time to return, but at this point there’s a principal involved… Amazon should do something about people paddling garbage at this level. It’s happening more and more often, and damages of the quality of their services as a whole.

Por ese precio y tratándose de una espada de plástico tampoco esperaba maravillas, así que no me ha decepcionado. Como punto positivo la hoja es mejor de lo que esperaba, está recta y no deformada hacia un lado como la mayoría de este tipo de espadas. Supongo que el hecho de incluir la vaina ayuda.Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta dos cosas:El rubí rojo de la empuñadura no existía en la espada que he recibido. La empuñadura entera está pintada en dorado, y el lazo rojo es mejor quitarlo porque es un trozo de cinta que queda bastante cutre. En general es todo plástico barato, en especial la empuñadura lacada. La vaina es lo mejor, resistente y con enganche para el cinturón.Además, el enganche entre la hoja y el puño se nota muy endeble, hasta el punto de que con sólo sacar la espada de la vaina notas que durará lo justo para estrenar el disfraz.Es decir, está bien para lucir la espada como accesorio de un disfraz, y pegar tajos al aire, pero al primer golpe con contacto que pegue el niño la empuñadura se partirá. No la veo como juguete a largo plazo.Por este precio no esperaba maravillas, y como complemento del disfraz sirve perfectamente. Pero como juguete su esperanza de vida es bastante corta.
