I bought this set to maintain my tent flysheet's water repellency -- Regular reproofing of fabrics helps keep them in good condition and the added UV protection helps prevent premature degradation and tearing of the fabrics.I particularly appreciate the gear cleaner that comes in this set... Sometimes when camping 🏕️ you get a little more than you bargained for especially if you pitch up under a tree 🌴 so I now keep a bottle of gear cleaner and microfiber towel handy to clean up any mess before I pack away.With the color coordinated microfiber towels and the gear cleaner provided in this set, clean up and reproofing is easy, and it's nice to have products backed by an ecological innovator in the outdoor space.The gear cleaner even does double duty and cleans off leather/fabric boots 🥾 while maintaining water repellency so for such a versatile package at a fair price it gets 5 stars all round.

Solar tec wash does get a lot of grime out of items, and restores the loft in tents and clothing a treat.Goes a long way too;washed and reproofed 2 tents and some waterproofs and still got some left.Nice little dry bag too 👍

Prolonging the life of my camping gear

I used this to breathe a bit of life back into my 15 year old Black's tent. It is a 3 person Kintail model to give an idea of size. It wasn't particularly dirty so can't comment on how effective the wash was, however, the waterproofing spray worked very well. You don't need to dry between washing and treating so I was done in an hour (including drying time at the end). After treating the tent water was beading off it nicely and I used it over the weekend during bad weather and didn't suffer any leaks.The product clearly works and for the price i would highly recommend. Its super easy to do as well. You just need enough space to put up the tent and some water to hose it off with.

The media could not be loaded. Used on a 7 year old Hilleberg tent that was wetting out. Followed the simple instructions and voila, a reproofed tent.

This all came in a handy waterproof bag that turned into a rucksack. In the bag came two microfibre clothes, one green and one purple to correspond to cleaner and waterproofer that was in it. They both had easy to follow instructions on the back of the sprays.

Great Buy. Excellent product and the kit provides a 2 great products, clothes to apply and all comes in a very useful dry bag.
