Best bass holder I’ve found!
Did some research and for the price point, this is by far the sturdiest upright bass stand I’ve found! The first order I got came busted and bent, but after returning it, a replacement was sent and fast! It is exactly what I needed and I truly appreciate its ability to fold flat for loading in the vehicle when heading to play music.

Great Stand
Used to hold a 3/4 double bass, works very well and is easy to travel with. Holds the bass steady and kind of keeps the bass at a playable height if I choose not to hold the bass.

Great for when you run out of corners because of too many basses!
Nice stand, we have 2. Folds away nicely. Won't mark up the bass . Was recommended by the bass teacher.

Well made, does a great job holding the bass.
I really like this stand, I have been using it for about two months. It does hold the my bass well. I wish they had made the lower cross bar that holds the bottom of the bass an inch and half higher or made the bar adjustable. Why, because being 6'2" I would be able to put the bass in the stand and leave the end pin out. With this stand when the end pin is extended at normal playing height, the stand loses contact with the ground on three sides; very unstable. That being said, I am very careful to make sure that the bass makes contact on all sides of the stand and I only use the stand with the end pin up. I will say that on occasion sit and play the bass in the stand by adjusting it towards my body. This acutely changes my hand position especially when the endpin is not extended, so I would not do that on a gig.I would not use it in an orchestra or classroom setting where the violin players like to cut through the bass section. I could use it on a jazz gig where techie and other personal weren't cruising around it. or for breaks. Once the bass is placed properly it rest very securely. Be sure to check that the stand is making contact at all points on the ground. With all that said, I like itUpdate 7/29/19: I still like the stand however, I had to rap the foam with tape as it has begun to deteriorate where the wood contacts the bass. I now even more that before feel that the bar that the bass rest on should be higher so I could leave the endpin out. I may go back to putting it in the corner between breaks.

Stands up to the test.
It's a stand. It's sturdy. It lovingly supports my upright bass.It does not support large-mouthed bass though. Also not the best at emotional support. But if you have an upright bass and a spot in your house for a stand, this should be your choice.

Perfect stand!
The only double bass stand you should consider. Very stable, safe for the instrument, and collapsible.
