Forged Eye Hoe Head (Grub Hoe)

I fitted this head to a stainless steel tube handle for busting up ice chunks when I snowblow the sidewalks. It has a nice solid heft and I'm looking forward to the next heavy snowfall to try it out.

the diameter of hoe hole is 1-3/4". Most of the available handles are between 1" to 1-1/2" so it is hard to find the right diameter of handle to use it.Don't recommend the product unless you are ready to make your own handle.

I have an antique grub hoe with a short handle that is my most used garden tool. I have been looking for years to find another with no luck. This was exactly what I needed. It's about the size I was looking for. I carved a handle that resembled an axe handle and it was perfect for my needs. I was originally stunned at the $16 shipping but then looked at total cost compared to others and this was a winner. It came quickly with the regular mail. I am very pleased with this purchase. I may buy more and put on different length and style handles for different tasks.
