Keeper of the Lost Cities Illustrated & Annotated Edition: Book One

This is a good product for a quick read. I prefer the hard cover but we couldn't find ours and my younger son needed to read a book and review it for school so we bought this paperback copy. It does the job. We will likely donate it to the outdoor bookshelf hutch for our neighborhood library when we are done.

Love this book! I bought this edition because of the annotations and illustrations. It did not disappoint! The only thing I will say is that it’s a little larger(taller) than the rest of the hardbacks from the series. Not sure why they didn’t just make it the same size, as now they won’t match up on my bookshelf. But in all it’s a minor thing.

So I got this book in paperback to read for my two boys (9&6) at bedtime. Not only do they love it and can’t wait to keep reading it, I loved it so much I HAD to order one for my kindle so I could read ahead! We can’t wait to read the whole series! Such a great read, lots of twists and turns. The author really put a lot into her characters to make them relatable, and into the story!

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE this series, and reading it again one more time has been awesome!!! And even nostalgic. The illustrations are cool!! And the annotations reveal a little of Shannon's writing process, and also give advice on how to write fantasy. I loved the annotations about Keefe!!! It also includes some cut scenes (continue reading after the Acknowledgments).

My 9 yr old loved every minute of every book in this series. We’ve already pre-ordered the upcoming book.

The book is great filled with adventure and fun for young adults, my daughter loves the series, can’t wait for the ninth book.

This was my favorite book so normally I would have given a full 5 stars, but this was extremely disappointing since there were only 16 BLACK AND WHITE pictures and only a few annotations. I am really Shannon Messenger, but the money... not worth it. THe story is really great though so I recommend you buying this version of the book if you haven't read it yet.

This book is soo amazing 🤩 It has everything I like in it Romance, Fantasy, Adventure, Mystery!! This is my second time reading the series. It's just too good! Please read it!!!

Peguei ele bem baratinho, mas se tiver mais que uns 50 reais não recomendo pq a qualidade em si do livro é bem simples , mas em questão de páginas ele é bem grandão.

Le livre ne semble pas neuf , la couverture fait ternie, pleine de micro éraflures et la quatrième de couverture est cornée en haut et en bas.
