No, they aren’t soft and not oversized.

Q: I’m 5’4 and 120 pounds, if I want this to be a looser fit what size should I get?

I’m the same height but 180 lbs & wear a size 10. I ordered a large and it is loose. I recommend a medium or if you wear under a size 4 a small.
