It's hydraulic oil.
My trolley jack had lost oil. Topped up with this product and it is lifting at full capacity again. Job done, and should last for a very long time.

Pleased with the product
I am not a Hydraulic engineer, just a 'handyman' and to me hydraulic oil is hydraulic oil and this oil was to top up my trolly jack and my log splitter. The log splitter now has a longer ram travel which is what I required, I am therefore pleased with the result.

Jack oil
Slippery stuff, but highly uplifting. Rises to every occasion. Personally I would have liked a dedicated pouring spout/nozzle. Jack's filler is a tiny screw hole (approximately) 1/4 inch diameter.
