The media could not be loaded. I love this instrument. I wanted something that would be easy to learn and less frustrating than more complex instruments. I want to use it as a sensory release as well as meditation. I think it is perfect, and super fun. I love the color, it is a deep royal blue shade on the wood. It comes with instructions, a booklet to play it, sheet music, accessories for your hands when playing, and a case. The case is a drawstring velvet bag and it fits the instrument and the accessories. The size of this instrument is perfect for me as a short, smaller woman. I love it as it is easy to hold. I am not sure about tuning it yet, I am yet to try that. However, I did okay it already just for fun and it sounds great so far and is very cool to play around with.

It sounds almost like a music box and the tuning process is simple - it took me around thirty minutes to properly tune my kalimba, but when I was done I felt super accomplished and was fascinated with the sounds of each note.The book included comes with instructions on how to play two songs, but I personally would recommend looking up what you want to learn to play online. Avatar's Love is a pretty common kalimba song and is very simple and beginner friendly.This instrument is fantastic for people who may never have played an instrument before. It is easy to learn and to play, and enjoyable to practice. The instrument is quiet enough not to bother your neighbors if you live in an apartment and loud enough to play for a room of people at the same time.The blue color is very pretty and easy to clean. It does not get dirty easily. The keys do need to be cleaned; the wipe provided in the bag is pretty much good enough to do so.I would fully recommend this product. I have anxiety and ADHD and wanted to see if it would help, but the sounds the kalimba makes are extremely calming and satisfying. If you're debating on if you should get it, let this be your sign to go in!

This kalimba is so delightful sounding. It's a step up for me because I am use to kalimbas that sound like music boxes. This kalimba is made of mahogany wood yet it feels like I am holding a feather, it's very lightweight. The keys are much easier to press than my other kalimbas. The blue black paint finish is eye-catching and pleasing to look at. I find that the crisp bright resonating sound produced by this kalimba is better for playing popular songs. My other music box sounding kalimbas (solid board) are best for playing classical music. Popular songs like 'A Kiss From A Rose' by Seal and 'Lovin You' by Minnie Riperton sound better tabbed on this Kalimba.

Warning. If color matters to you, your delivery might dissapoint you. Mine was a very very very dark teal, not the blue I was epecting. However, I am fine with it.The sound is very cool!

I bought this kalimba for personal use but it would make a wonderful gift. The size feels quite comfortable in my hands but to be honest I do have fairly large hands. I'm a total beginner at playing any type of musical instrument but I'm finding it quite easy to learn. It arrived on time and came with everything promised. It's lovely to look at and well made, was perfectly in tune and has a beautiful tone. My one critique is that the 'instruction' booklet is fairly useless, but there are so many tutorials on YouTube that it's easy to find whatever information you need.

Great price, fun to tinker with. Look online for how to play. The do re mi scale works by pressing right side then left then right then left etc as you’re going up the scale. It’s a good brain exercise since it’s not exactly intuitive

I bought this to mess around with and my wife and children ended up taking it over and playing with it more than I did. Super easy to figure out songs on and sounds great for the price. It is very light weight and you can tell it is made of cheap wood but for less than $20 I can not complain

Bought (because of the Gods Must Be Crazy) for camping trips. Did have some troubles tuning the smaller notes on the edge but got there in the end (The hammer supplied needs a very light touch). Speaking of supplies the booklet is well written and the note styles are easy to understand. I haven't learned any songs on it yet but just as a n00b strumming it sounds pretty good! Looking forward to learning it and even bought a second one so my mum doesn't have to be so envious!
