Had this for a little bit now, I did not use the wax that comes with it. I have pretty sensitive skin and already had a wax that I loved but needed a warmer. This works great, I dont have to turn it all the way up to make it work and its quick too.

I have used soft wax at home and in the salon for near 20 years and only tried hard wax once years ago before being availble to the public. I have sensitive skin and have always had to wax at night to give time for the redness to lessen, and even after using lavender oil and cold compresses, sometimes it would be red for a full 24 hrs. - 2 days. And, yes, it was done correctly.I just have irritable skin. This hard wax takes the cake! I was done being red within an hour!!! I didn't even need an after cream. It hardens within 1 minute after application, pulls much less on the skin than soft wax, removes ALL the hair without issue, and is SO easy to clean up afterwards. No more sticky or stiff feeling on your skin. Just smooth, pliable, hairless skin. lf there is any wax left on skin, or counter, you can easily remove it with your finger once dried. Kind of like dried hot glue, but painless. No extra products needed. It is SO much easier to use than all the strips and dripping of soft wax. I love it! I read numerous reviews of other comparable wax kits on Amazon before buying. Some complained of ineffective wax; others the warmer giving out after one or two uses. I have only used this once, so long-term I can't say, but after brushing on some baby powder to dry any oils on our skin, we tried it on our moustaches, feet, underarms, and eyebrows on 2 separate people. We wanted to see how it performed. It worked perfectly on all areas with absolutely NO complaints EVERY time. We used about half of 1 bag of beads. I set the temperature at @ 175°F on the dial and it was warm, but never burned. The settings have an automatic on and off to keep wax warm. Just pick your setting and leave it there. You will use slightly more hard wax than you would with soft, but not much, and not needing additional products will most likely even out cost in the end on a comparative level. There is a metal rod that crosses the top of bowl. I used it to wipe the back side of stick and once cold, returned any excess dried wax to the pot. I would say, if you tend to be messy, invest in some disposable collars for the warmer. There is a lot of open space around the edges. I am very happy with this product, would definitely recommend it, and hope the warmer continues to work long-term.

I love this! I didn’t expect it to come with a before and aftercare. It’s really nice and cute. The melting pot is light, I thought it was going to be heavy. Before I got this I would use a candle wax melt and I’m just happy I was able to get an actual body wax melter and I’m so happy I got it at this price! I tries to take pics of everything.

Got this as a beginner, and followed all of the instructions. It comes with lots of wax beads, but I found the wax too painful to use. Would rather go to a professional than to waste the money on this kit, as I never use it.

I’ve been using this product for about a year now and I love it. It does take a while for the wax to melt in the beginning but I’m sure that’s normal.
