Great, just wash them correctly. It's super easy.
I bought two packs of these, and they're great. My dog loves the little bone that came with them, and they are a good size. The only real problem I have is that they are grey and and about the same size as my bath mat, so my dog keeps peeing on that. But he's a little silly. After noticing other reviewers talk about problems with cleaning, I want to share how I get them clean and unsmelly.DO NOT USE BLEACH OR HOT WATER.Bleach will break down the waterproof barrier in the pads, causing them to leak more. Hot water will set the smell into the fabric. Both are exactly what you don't want.Use an enzyme detergent or cleaner. I use Persil, it works really great. Set your water temperature on the washer to COLD. I also fill the bleach cup in the washer with vinegar. Vinegar is a natural enzymatic cleaner, and clothes don't come out smelling vinegar-y after a regular rinse.Dry in the dryer on low/permanent press, or hang dry. This will maintain the life of your dog's pee pads and get rid of smells.

It actually works no puddles and no mess 😄😄
This pad is AWESOME I have one dog that constantly urinates in my hallway wood floor usually at night when e regime is sleeping. I wish I had bought this product 3 years ago. Now that I have two I will never have to mop up urine again. You just throw the pad in the wash and it’s clean for the next use it also does not keep the urine smell in it once it’s washed. Like I said above this is an AWESOME PROUCT 😄😄😄 I highly recommend this to anyone that has a pet that may have accidents from time to time.

Great for puppy proofing!
I bought this to protect my floor when bringing home a new puppy. I actually folded it in half to fit in the space I need it. It has a gripper side that makes it stay put. I have had to wash it once and it was easy to wash and dry. It’s thick and comfortable.

Decent pad
The media could not be loaded. I saw a lot of reviews that said they leak so I wanted to test them out first. I poured an entire glass of water on it, which is more than my dog would go, and came back 20 mins later. It didn't leak through at all. The only downside I saw was that it wasn't all that fast at absorbing so I could see if they peed towards the edge of the pad it could run off.

Not just for dogs
I got these for my cat, yes that’s right, cat. She is very old and has bladder leakage problems. Most of the time when she thinks she’s done her bladder isn’t so she ends up making a puddle next to her box. The smell of cat pee is grotesque. These washable dog pee pads have saved my floor, my back and possibly my relationship. I’ve used both pads twice and I have one in the dryer now. I have to swap it out every night but my laundry room no longer smells like the elephant cage at the zoo and I think my cat is happier. And to think I’ve dropped nearly $500 on vet visits to “cure” her only to learn that she just can’t help it.

These are flexible cloth with plastic coated backs. Easily deployed and easily cleaned.
We use disposable wee wee pads for our dog's elimination needs, but these washable ones provide a more flexible pad that can be put on strategic areas of the bed, for instance. Oopsies are not that common but we're always glad to have the area covered with one of these nice looking washable pee pads. They do the job on a couch or sofa as well.

Best invention for whelping and puppies EVER!
I breed German Shepherd Dogs and I have been looking for an easier solution for whelping and puppy potty training rather than using potty pads. I ordered 2 of the washable pads, soon after I received them my female had her puppies. I was able to wash the pad asks it was as good as new! I will NEVER go back to the little disposable puppy pads again!

Perfect for our old “puppy” and her nighttime accidents
We have a 14-year-old Cocker Spaniel that’s very healthy and gets around great but is experiencing accidents when she sleeps at night. She has always slept on my side of the bed so placing these in that spot has saved our carpet.I do have to run them through a quick wash almost every day. I lay them out on our deck rail, plastic side up, to dry. There is a slight odor at first but that’s been washed out. She sleeps on them without issue. Great product that’s used daily and is still holding up very well under extreme use for months now.
