Fantastic brush for thick and thin lines as well as interesting shaped strokes. I went looking for a dagger brush after watching urban sketcher and fantastic workshop instructor, Liz Steel, use hers. This is a great brush for the price. It holds a good amount of water, and points nicely even when well loaded, so I was able to create both thick and thin lines.It doesn’t carry quite as much pigment/water as my similarly sized sable brush, but that is generally to be expected with a synthetic hair brush. I painted my tulips entirely with this brush, including the fine lines. I bought this as my travel brush - I wrap the bristles securely with a post-it note, then secure that with electrical tape. The brush has already gone on two longish trips with me, as well as numerous day trips. I love that I can bring just this brush if I’m trying to go really minimal and I still have both a larger wash brush and a fine liner.Because it’s made from synthetic fibers, I would also consider using it for acrylics, though I haven’t yet.If you found my review useful, please click the “Helpful” button below. Nice brushes, I can paint varying line thicknesses with them and they don’t flare out where I don’t want them to go. The angle of the cut is good for the way I work, they stay together well and make very nice thin lines. They don’t hold a whole lot of paint and it wouldn’t bother me if the bristles were 1/4 inch longer but they work fine the way they are. Very nice.

I paint animal portraits and this brush has become my main go to brush for the variety of strokes I can make from very fine to wide and shaded.

I love these brushes. I have a couple different ones & I personally think they perform really well. These brushes hold a nice amount of paint (watercolor). It makes a multitude of shapes & fine lines.

Seems to be a very good brush. If I order more i'll make sure it's more than one. The shipping was more than $8...my fault for not noticing.

These tiny dagger brushes were much better than I hoped for considering the modest price. The bristles taper nicely to a fine point and the flex is just right. I ordered two and wish I had ordered six since I use this type of brush for final detail work on my acrylic paintings. Super versatility for a minimal price.

Products photo looks like brush is more substantial than it actually is.I don’t even know the ‘actual magnification’ of the brush, seems like a waste of money.What would I actually use this tiny brush for?

I use this for watercolor flowers! It makes great one stroke flowers petals and beautiful leaves!!!!
