Garlic has natural purifying properties as well as antiseptic, anti-viral and antibacterial properties making it ideal for cleaning paws and ears, to soothe scratches and minor skin abrasions. Fleas and ticks do not like the pungent odour of garlic therefore it can be combed through the coat as a deterrent. Also when dropped directly onto ticks it can help facilitate their easy removal.
