I was hopeful. However, I was not impressed. After letting it sit in the sun a majority of the day on a dry surface, it began to show signs of condensation on the inside. It is on (color changing) or off. Directions, I know that sounds weird, could be helpful as to whether or not the switch needs to be on to take a charge as it only lasted for about 5 minutes after it got real dark. The switch is a small white tab that feels very weak and also seems as if it could wear out the water tight covering. I would not recommend this for a pool. Could work for a small pond without a lot of moving water. Would be nice if it had 3 threading holes on the bottom to use as feet on a table. I will give it another day in 🌞 to see if it lasts any longer.

First no remote control, second you can not leave them in the water for days. The sun and maybe the pool chemicals eat away at the adhesive in the middle of the ball and water gets in and ruined the product. Third they about the size of a grapefruit... fourth the lights are not bright at all

Very deceptive. They say pool "lights" and then "7 color changing". . .I really though I was getting 7 small lights that change colors. The light is ok, but not worth $11 for just one.

I expected that the illumination would cast a wider flood field above the water line. I also expected that there would be light transmitted down into the water as well . It did the latter a bit but not at all to the former

These only run for a few hours, I am assuming that the color changing is what drains the batteries. No problems with water leaking into the lights. I think these would be really great for hanging too.

I needed another solar display for our swimming pool. Finding one with a hang capability was critical otherwise they float into our drain basket. The packaging was crummy - there was no padding. The solar box was open and mashed. But the lights work fine. They are worth $12. (I would not pay more.)
