My dad bought this for the patio he built and here in the South, it was really hot in there. So it did make a difference with reducing the heat but it was a pain to make sure the film was even and smooth and making sure it was cut perfectly. He doesn’t regret using it but you need to follow the instructions and have time/patience

I’m upset that the price to value ratio is off. The whole roll only covered the top half of one window for this project I will have to spend way more than I want. Product is great but don’t get enough of it for the price

Florida is always hot in the summer (duh) and it's even hotter when you have a south-facing dinning room with windows that seem to greenhouse effect about 10 to 15 (F) degrees hotter. Anyway, this product is over 50% less expensive than big box store brands. I can't say if it's better quality, but the results have been dramatic. My AC thermostat reads 8 degrees (F) lower than previous and the dining area is much more tolerable now....we used to avoid eating lunch in the dining area because it too bright and hot--not anymore with this sun-blocking window film.I've never done this type of install before and it wasn't too bad. I'd recommend a really, really, REALLY good utility knife/craft knife, or something super sharp that will smoothly and easily cut the film when doing the trimming portion, otherwise you will do what I did and have rough edges. My tint job won't pass the straightness or pretty-looking test, but the film is on the windows and it's functional, so it's good enough.The room during the day is significantly darker--I'm okay with that--and from the outside you can't see inside (my wife and I checked several times, at different periods of the day and night). I'm hoping this tint job will help with the electric bill. We'll see, but our thermostat shows a pretty big change.

While the film was not the easiest to install it is durable enough that as long as you keep the window damp with the water/soap solution it is workable and the results were good. Used one roll on a large sliding door and a second on some windows with rounded edges. I do suggest using both a large squeegee and a craft scraper with a fabric edge when finishing up as the film dries.

I got this too. Make sure no one can look into my window because I don’t have curtains.I prefer using the tint however, it is not dark enough, and not prime it all the time only during the day at night, everyone can look into my roomI wouldn’t purchase this specific one again

This window covering film is an excellent product. Here's a suggestion that would help me. I not very good at cutting and measuring. If the removable film had a measuring grid printed on it like some gift does, I could be more exact in measuring and cutting. Thank you

This stuff works quite well once you can get it on the window, but that is quite a task. Get a friend to help, because this stuff is rolled tightly, doesn't cut easily, and getting the bubbles out while also trying to manage keeping it in position and apply it straight are a hefty challenge. God help you if you're applying it to a sliding glass door. Work in smaller sections than you think you need to, and hope that your friend you've enlisted has wrapped cars before. This is more fiddly, but they'll get the jist.

The instructions seemed intimidating upon first reading, but I was able to find two travel spray bottles and that really helped with the process. The material is also not sticky so any mistakes you make can be fixed/moved. Was able to do three strips on a huge window in my living room in about an hour by myself, and having a mirror like effect from viewing on the outside is just what I wanted for privacy. I’m curious to see just how long this will last, especially in the colder months, but I don’t see why the process could not just be repeated, and the material reused.
