Beautiful story and images
The illustrations in this book are absolutely adorable and the story is darling. As a Frenchie mama, I cried the first time reading this to my little human. We just lost one that looked just like Ivy. Highly recommend!

A cheerful outlook and persistence help to meet a challenge
Based on a true story about a dog who overcomes a challenge to his mobility with just a little help. Ivy likes to run and play like most dogs, but one day finds she has back pain. The doctor is grave and says it will be hard for her to walk from now on. Ivy and her parents are sad, but Ivy decides it's up to her, and with determination, she manages to pull herself around with her two front feet. She gradually gets stronger, but the back legs won't support her. A new friend, Eddie, has a similar problem, but he has a special type of wheelchair that supports his back legs and lets him run around like everyone else. He gives her a wheelchair and Ivy soon discovers she can run around and have fun just like before. She tells readers to "keep on rolling." The final pages show photos of the real-life Ivy with her favorite activities and friends, and of course, her special wheels. It's a cute book with friendly pictures and expressive dogs. It will make your little ones smile and could be inspirational for any youngster who needs a wheelchair or any type of support to move.

Love this book!
Amazing book! My preschool student are going to love it. A wonderful story with an amazing message. Being a Frenchie mom and Ivy being from my hometown is just icing on the cake. My school is only a few towns over and when the kids make that connection they are going to be over joyed. This is a teachers must have.

a feel good read for everyone. five stars.
as a frenchie owner and pregnant with my first child, when i saw this book i had to have it. i loved it the second i read it when it arrived in the mail. not long after, my frenchie also woke up paralyzed. she went through the exact battle ivy fought. i still can’t get through the book without crying. it is absolutely so heart warming. i also am so thankful my son has a book he can read that shows his dog isn’t the only one who has a wheelchair and that if you put your heart and mind to it, you can do everything.

Touching, relatable story as a IVDD survivor dog mom
I first read this book to my little friends at my preschool and cried. This book is about a French bull dog who has IVDD. This is also my dog Albert’s story. This is our story. I’ve never felt so connected or touched by a book, let alone a children’s book.I went home that day and bought two copies!I’m proud and happy of my very determined dachshund. He is still the same happy boy he has always been. He’s not in pain, he’s just different. These INCREDIBLE VERY DETERMINED DOGS are so brave and resilient!!Thank you for your beautiful inspirational story. Reading this book gives us comfort that we are not alone in this journey.

I to the V to the D to the D
So, my wife and I don't have kids, but in the event that they should ever pop up out of the blue, I can at least feel prepared in the literary department with this book on the shelf. It tactfully broaches the subject of coming to terms with a handicap, allowing both young and old readers to either identify or empathize with differently-abled people and animals, which is a beautiful thing. The story is written in a great, flowing children's book manner that almost perfectly mirrors what's happening with one of our dogs at the moment. The illustrations transported me back to being a kid fumbling my way through The Poky Little Puppy, taking in every bit of artistic creativity throughout.I think I've found my Christmas gift for friends who are having kids, and hope this review might help to get a copy on a few more shelves.

Kaia wheel be Jammin!
We have our own little Ivy named Kaia. I had been following Ivy on IG because she was such an inspiration when our Kaia became paralyzed. She now has her own wheels and we even messaged the authors with pictures to let them know just how amazing and inspirational they have been in our lives. Now that we are about to introduce our first human child to our pack, this book will be a beautiful addition to her library. It was definitely hard choking back tears reading this to my dog. So I can only imagine reading it to my daughter. Thank you Ivy and family for being amazingly wonderful and sharing your story. We love you tons!
