Excellent product! In my opinion having a pomade like this is an essential men’s hair product. I have medium length thick, coarse, wavy hair that can be very unruly and difficult to tame. This product keeps everything neat, tidy, tight, and in place. Keeps the hairstyle in place for the day and has great lasting power. My style is more of pompadour/classic quiff and this pomade helps cut back on styling time with its strong hold. The smell is very masculine and pleasant without being overpowering. It does have a higher shine which I think enhances the style I’m going for and gives it a more polished look. I found that it is possible to decrease the level of shine by simply blow drying. I’m using both this and redken brews (medium hold/natural shine), while both are great products, this pomade gets the job done better for what I’m looking for and my hair texture as opposed to the Redken. Definitely recommend Uppercut’s deluxe pomade!

Works well. Smells good. Really like how is water based, but has good hold for most of the day.

I have thick wavy hair. I have found that uppercut holds and styles my hair perfectly. I usually apply uppercut after showering. I apply uppercut by just taking a minimal amount on 2 fingers and rubbing it together in my hands. I then rub the product through my hair and style it. I have found it takes up to 3 applications to completely cover my hair. Uppercut has a sweet “honey whiskey” like smell that is not overpowering. The hold lasts all day. Uppercut pomade is my go to and seems like it will last a good while. I will definitely purchase this product in the future and highly recommend!

Very nice pomade! Easy to wash. It does dry my hair out a lot though, and ut doesn't have too much of a hold unless if you glop a lot of it on. But overall nice and no stinky smell either. Nice can design and feel too.

I have thick hair and have been plagued with a cowlick in the front of my forehead that causes a numerous amounts of problems. I've tried to tame it with everything gel, mouse, hair spray, wax, fiber, and even a straighter (lets keep the straighter part just between us). Long story short they all had there flaws. The closes thing I could find that worked for me was Baxter of California Clay Pomade, but the flaw with that is it is not water soluble and requires shampoo to get it out plus lots of time lathering and blotching enormous amounts of shampoo on over and over again. Not very ideal for everyday use. Then I found this baby Uppercut Deluxe and bam! I was in suave hair paradise! I have to say it keeps my cowlick in order with a super strong hold! It makes my hair look perfect! it holds all day! Yes I said it the sentence you were waiting to read. "IT HOLDS ALL DAY" It holds all day baby! (Cue the Celebration music) I can now due a clean comb over or slick my hair back with a undercut! and when the day is over go and rinse it right off with no difficulty at all!Why the four stars instead of five? Well unfortunately this product does cause me to breakout with some intense cystic acne on my forehead. Bear with me I have oily acne prone skin. Before I turn this product down for anyone who does have acne prone let me tell you I am currently on the search for an acne free pomade or any type of hair product that will tame my cowlick and hold all day and I have found nothing!! I am still using uppercut because it is the only product that works with my hair and washes off instantly. If you do not suffer from acne prone skin then this hair product is the best choice you can make! if you do suffer from acne prone skin I would still recommend it if you NEED a strong hold all day but be warned it might cause you to break out, but everyone has different skin so its hard to really say if that will be true

Smells good, smooth and easy to scoop out and smear on your hands. Holds all day, easy to wash out and the tin opens and closes relatively easily. It’s quite a bit of product for the price so I’d say it’s worth it. It’s on my list of some of the better pomades I’ve tried. I’ll likely buy it again.

This was my first time trying this pomade. It has a very good hold. Lasted all day and even through my work out at the gym. I always used Suavecito but I think this will be my new go to pomade.

As far as pomades go, this is pretty much my favorite. Smell is amazing, better in my opinion than almost every other pomade. Only complaint is that it’s somewhat faint. Has a coffee/vanilla/coconutty smell.Has a matte finish; once it sets it feels quite clean and light; hold is strong as advertised, but that’s where i begin to find fault. Now let me be clear— this is a great product, and i’m rating it 5 stars because it’s gonna work for most people out there just fine. It just didn’t work for me because it was me, not the product. I have the softest hair of anyone i know, male or female. It is dense, soft, wavy Asian hair, which is a perfect recipe for always falling down into a bowl cut. In fact, my hair is softer without conditioner than any others’ with conditioner, and only gatsby purple or pink wax have enough holding power with a matte finish. That said, the pomade performed decently; had to reapply twice in a 12-hour day.Tl;dr smells amazing, wish it smelled stronger. Holds as advertised, but my hair is so abnormally soft that only very few matte products can hold my hair up.
