Excellent tool at a fantastic price. Cuts cable ties with a sharp free end. Still prefer the gun type for ease of use but this will be a useful addition for places where the gun type is hard to access and I suspect will cut larger ties.

An easy & quick way to tighten cable ties. Seems strongly made so should last and copes with the strongest ties I can get locally. Not been tried on stainless steel ties which it may have trouble cutting. Delivered promptly.

once you've got used to the tension required seems a good product. So far so good..

Good tool, does actually cut dead flush, so no sharp edges. Very robust, no plastic parts, dropped a couple of times off a step ladder, still works fine. cuts ties up to 9.5mm wide down to small ones. Would buy again.

The media could not be loaded.  I was hesitant to purchase this because from the pictures and description, I couldn't tell how it is used. I am used to the pistol grip kind.It turns out to be very quick and easy to use and it works really well.I've used it a lot the day I got it. With that said, I've noticed a few pros and cons that I'd like to share.Pros:Easy to use.Seems durable. (Only time will tell how durable)Cuts flush.Cons;The cutter is on the same side as the squeeze handle. So be careful that when you squeeze, keep your index finger out of the path of the cutter handle, or you will pinch yourself.It doesn't work well for tight spaces, in those situations, the pistol grip works better.With that said, I still am glad I got it, because 99% of my needs are not in tight areas. So for me, it just works.I still got myself pinched a couple more times because I forgot to keep my finger away from the cutter handle. So now I place my index finger on the cutter handle and squeeze with my other fingers, that way I can cut while applying tension.

Had a plastic tool that you pull straight back. It could not generate much force and plastic pawl slipped. This all metal tool provides some mechanical lever advantage and pulls very hard. On small ties, it is fairly easy to snap the tie by squeezing too hard. Integrated trimmer requires some dexterity to use, but works fine. Durability is just a guess, but design seems solid. The straight rail pull back design does work better in tight spaces, but not a big concern for my use.
