WEAK PRESSURE, MAY NOT WORK
This one stinks. Been pulling my hair out with my boat not staying running and needing to keep priming it with the bulb in the gas line from the tank. Realized my "new" HFP-361 pump just wasn't cutting it and bringing the fuel up to the fuel supply module. Save yourself the headaches and get a genuine Walbro lift pump, WAL-PPN3-R. Wow, what a difference, pulled the gas up fast! I am back on the water!

the pressure is not high enough to lift the fuel to the vapor separator
The pump operates when ignition is on and when engine starts but will not lift the fuel from the tank so engine shuts down when fuel is finished in the vapor separator. The engine is a 2006 115 hp mercury fourstroke

PART DOES NOT WORK FOR THIS APPLICATION
THIS FUEL PUMP WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DIRECT REPLACEMENT / IT DID NOT FIT / AND DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH PRESSURE / TRIED TO CONTACT SELLER BUT KEPT BEING PUT ON HOLD FOR OVER 30 MINUTES / HAD TO BUY EXEACT FIT PUMP FROM MERCURY / NEVER WAS ABLE TO GET SELLER TO CALL ME BACK

ended up buying 2. The first one went bad within an hour. Changed it and worked fine

Garbage do NOT buy
Just spoke to a marine mechanic working on my engine,This NEW pump is NOT working!! Runs but does not pull fuel.Save yourself time and $$$ buy replacing only with a genuine Mercury pump.
