They will appreciate you buying this.
I was very skeptical buying a halo. Maybe I was just more in denial that my boy needed it. My 9 year old chihuahua quickly lost his vision in one eye right after losing our oldest chihuahua. He was getting around alright, but would bump into things a bit. Once I bought the halo, shortly after he lost all his vision. He’s now gaining his confidence back. The halo is very nice to use, and is very sturdy. It has a little clip to attach a leash, and the Velcro is strong so I don’t feel like he will escape the harness. I ordered the wrong size so I had to reorder, so if your pet is in the middle of a size, just size up. My chihuahua is 11lb and size 3 works great for him.

Perfect halo for our blind doggo
Our big girl recently lost her sight due to diabetes. We’ve tried a few different hoops, and this one has been by far the best that has worked for her. The hoop stays up high enough that it protects her little snoot from booping into anything. The hoop does leave some scuffs on the walls, but they easily wipe off. The hoop was easy to secure with the Velcro in the back of the included headpiece, and it’s easy to take off the back of the vest. Our dog still isn’t a huge fan of the Velcro sound, but we haven’t noticed any kind of irritation on her skin from the vest itself. She can easily lay down with it on, and she still loves to dig holes in our backyard. The hoop allows her to eat and drink without it being in the way as well. It also allows her the freedom to play with her toys still. The size is pretty accurate, I’d recommend choosing off the size based on your dogs girth size as our doggo was in between size 6 for her nose and size 7 for her girth. So we got the size that matched her chest size. For the most part this functions just like we wanted it to. It protects her from bumps and she walks around with a bit of a sassy walk now knowing she’s not going to hurt herself by running into anything.I love the color, it’s a nice and it makes it easier to see her when she moves around in our backyard. So far, the durability seems pretty good and I feel like this will hold up over time. Overall I’m very impressed. And I’m glad to see some spunk back in our old girl.

Muffin's Halo for my blind dog
Like my mother always told me you get what you pay for.I've tried two other Halo devices for my blind dog. They were ok but I always had trouble with the latches they would always stretch or the material would move in the latch clasp. The Muffin's Halo is great the fit is great, it does not slip, no latches to pinch the underbelly of my dog.Muffin's use of the Velcro is the best way to go, in the beginning I was not sure, but I'm impressed.I'm a believer in the Muffin's Halo, its a more expensive, but when you add the two other's i purchased and tried. It comes out that Muffin's Halo is just a little less costlyThank you Muffin

Not for everydog
Honestly smart idea but I bought it thinking it would help my dog but he doesn’t like to wear things so if that’s the case with your dog just help them adjust to the layout of things and communicate extra

Worth the extra cost
Did not end up keeping this item but it is well worth the extra money. I bought the cheaper ones offered on Amazon, as well, but the halo collar was much higher quality and stayed in place when the others would fall to one side. It was much more comfortable for my dog to wear and she accepted it better than the others I tried

Our fur baby loves it!
Works great for our blind dog. It keeps him from hitting his head.

Very good for blind dogs
My dog needed his eyes removed. So after it was done, and the Elizabethan collar was no longer needed, I purchased this. It's easy to put on; similar to a regular harness. The hoop/ halo can be adjusted as needed. It fits well according to how I measured it.The only negative is if my dog hits enough areas in my house, it can change the angle of the halo. Also, when it is hot outside, it is too hot for him to wear.
